Two days ago, Instapundit/law professor Glenn Reynolds assailed the politics of “blood libel” in the Wall Street Journal.
Today, Sarah Palin issued her own poignant, but fierce rejoinder against the vicious smears of Tucson massacre opportunists and drew on “America’s enduring strength” to pay tribute to the victims.
They criticized her for not saying anything.
Now, they’ll criticizing her for saying something.
The blamestream media is already up in arms — can we still say that? — over the use of the phrase “blood libel.” Ben Smith at Politico has an exchange with Glenn Reynolds about the term here. Jim Geraghty notes that leftists have had no problem applying the phrase to the GOP.
The more moronic of Palin-bashers will simply gnash their teeth because she said “blood.”

I used to think the movie “Idiocracy” was a comedy
I am beginning to think it is a documentary
The premise is that stupid people unwisely breed and breed, because their poor and stupid and have nothig else to do...
whereas the intelligent plan wisely and less frequently.
This leads to a growing population of stupider and stupider people
Peons and Elite, and they are the elite!!!
Her response this morning was very well done. It was the media that started it with their attempts to give Bambi a cause to shut down political debate like Clintons OC bombing comments did.
Sarah preemptively took the narrative away from them.
Our family very aggressively shut down liberals out here trying run Sarah into the mud.
After this we will be even more aggressive if they start showing their PDS.
The lamestream media operates under the title of “Stupid is as Stupid does”. Sarah made a video yesterday to finally try to address the issues that the driveby media accuses her of. She did a great job and the video is worthwhile to watch. More and more is coming out about the Arizona shooter and the media cannot stop it nor can they continue to spin it into facts that only they want to use. The bottom line is that they attack Sarah because they are scared of her. Sarah speaks to people in terms that they can understand and she is not afraid to say things that are deemed by some to be politically incorrect. That is a good thing and many of us admire her gusto.

These facts will in no way impair the rant on the left-to them, it “feels” like it could have, making it gospel in their minds.

Sarah’s little 8 min. speech this morning out did anything obama can attempt to say tonight. She took the stage away from him. Obama reading a teleprompter tonight for 30 min. or 45 min. can’t equal her 8 min.

I just love the way SP makes libs head explode. It’s simply uncanny, but it is a beautiful sight to behold. I never seem to tire of it. I’d really like to see Bachmann get more press. The paper towel industry would really prosper with the amount of liberal brain matter (perhaps that’s an oxymoron) that would be splattered on walls everywhere.
