Violence has always been a part of settling political disputes as a last means in civilized countries...that possibility can't be used to preclude dissent.

If a conservative had done this, we'd know every connection to anything conservative he had done in his whole life.
If the MSM wants it's credibility back, they need to cover stories the same for liberals as for conservatives - one style book - the same treatment.

And this salient fact, coupled with last year’s election, where he was exposed to the result of all the heated political rhetoric, which, again, he did not personally listen to and the widespread news presence of people like Sarah Palin, who, by the way, he did not personally know of, but people he walked past every day on the streets knew of and, in fact, drove cars with her bumper stickers on them, which the troubled Loughner never drove around in...
