“Loughner didn’t have to actually listen to ‘hate radio.’ It was the psychic environment caused by Right Wing Hate Rhetoric that caused the shooting, and Easy Access to Guns enabled him.”

And this salient fact, coupled with last year’s election, where he was exposed to the result of all the heated political rhetoric, which, again, he did not personally listen to and the widespread news presence of people like Sarah Palin, who, by the way, he did not personally know of, but people he walked past every day on the streets knew of and, in fact, drove cars with her bumper stickers on them, which the troubled Loughner never drove around in...
