OH and maybe Rachel Maddow is responsible for this.
The Lost Angeles Times FAVORS his behavior?
1) He irresponsibly attributed the attack to the blameless.
2) He offered Loughner a great defense on a silver platter.
The guy’s a partisan hack and a buffoon.
So no wonder the Lost Angeles Times likes him.
anything to take the focus off the lack of the police department follow up on slimeball, who had been in trouble more than once
He is nothing but a Sheriff Arpaio-wannabe. Look at the self serving smirk on his face. Happier than a pig in sh!t.
It’s bad police work and he risks hurting the case.
All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to = remain silent.

When is someone going to ask this clown about the lack of police presence at this event? Shouldn’t there have been a couple of officers assigned to the Congresswoman at such a public place? It was civilians who brought down the shooter, where were the cops?
Nice make-up. If I was looking to score with a pasty-faced legal hag who looks at least 20 years older than she is, this would definitely be the babe! Hey, I thought those female bow-ties went out with IBM’s dress code in the 70’s!
The author and the paper are insane.
If anything, this sheriff has ripped the scab off the national wound caused by leftists hatred.
I don't think it will be long before the chorus of "RESIGN NOW" catches up with him.
Meant ..."relatively communist union haven and barrio for illegal aliens sucking the US dry."
“He offered Loughner a great defense on a silver platter.”
This is a pretty scary thought. Can you imagine what a circus the trial will be?
Arizona’s new big sheriff in town? Dream on.
Judy Clarke has asked that Jared Loughner's trial be moved out of AZ. Where to? I ask. CA liberals have infiltrated, AZ, OR, WA, NM, CO, NV like an aggressively invasive cancer.
He apparently knew about the nutball, yet tries to deflect the blame for falling down on the job. Supposedly, there were death threats before the massacre, and what was done? / theoretical question
That’s right LA Times, cheer for the guy who, after the killer himself, is most responsible for the tragedy. We always knew you couldn’t find your way out of a paper bag and now you’ve proven it.

We have a mentally unstable person in the class that scares the living crap out of me, she wrote in an e-mail provided to U.S. newspapers. He is one of those whose picture you see on the news, after he has come into class with an automatic weapon. Everyone interviewed would say, Yeah, he was in my math class and he was really weird.
Campus police talked to Mr. Loughner five times between February and September about his disruptive behaviour in classes and in the library. After the college found a YouTube video where Mr. Loughner described the institution as unconstitutional, it suspended him. In a letter delivered to his parents, the school said he could return only after a mental-health professional had evaluated him and determined he posed no threat. ....In late November, Mr. Loughner went to a Sportmans Warehouse store in Tucson, where an employee performed an instant background check and sold him a Glock 19 semi-automatic handgun." http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/world/arizona-shooting/shooting-top-stories/accused-arizona-shooters-lonely-descent-into-instability-and-paranoia/article1864254/
Paging Judge Ito....Judge Ito...pick up the courtesy phone....
Since Sheriff Dupnik has tainted the local jury pool...the case is transferred to you court so that the alleged killer of 6 people and wounder of 12 may receive a fair trial under your supervision.
The FBI has him out of the loop. probably because he is so loopey and they are investigating his role.
