Thieves target Habitat for Humanity survey crew in Liberty City
A trio of robbers picked the wrong target in Liberty City on Monday.
According to Miami Police, the robbers had targeted a survey crew for a Habitat for Humanity development near Northwest 15th Ave. and 60th St.
On first glance, attacking a group from a volunteer organization might seem like a safe target, but looks can be deceiving.
The suspects didn't realize that one of the members of the survey crew was packing heat, and as the thieves tried to make off with some survey equipment, one of them was shot in the leg.
Miami Police investigate after a survey crew... The two sides exchange between 14 and 16 shots, witnesses said
The wounded suspect was found a short time later at 65th St., and police were able to recover the equipment. The other two suspects got away and are at-large, police said.

This comes up when we are trying to explain the difference between a surveyor's mark on a map and a gun sight? The world's irony production is running in overdrive.

Typical bad writing by the lib media. The guys were probably surveyors not H for H employees. Surveyors are usually pretty tough guys. This is a bad part of town.

Oh the inhumanity of it all. A Tea Party, gun toting, red neck hiding in a volunteer organization. Why did he have to shoot? Probably because Sarah Palin told him to. I can just hear it all now. (cricket) (cricket) (cricket)

Wait a minute. Habitat for Humanity. Jimmy Carter.
Does this mean Carter now has to turn in his Peace Prize?

The crooks undoubtedly were of the impression that James Earl Carter was working that site on that day.
I can’t wait to see the footage of Jimmy congratulating his crew on their marksmanship and diligence.

That’s where most of these “habitat” houses are -
in places that I wouldn’t allow anyone I care about to go.

This story needs to be sent to that d!ck head sheriff in AZ who claimed he never heard of a gun carrying citizen preventing a crime.
