The Supreme Court has rejected an appeal from a lawyer who has been in the forefront of the challenge to President Barack Obama's citizenship.

The high court on Monday did not comment in refusing to hear the appeal filed by California lawyer and dentist Orly Taitz. She was contesting a $20,000 fine for filing what a federal judge determined was a frivolous lawsuit.

If judges, legislators, electoral college members or military personnel want to see Obama’s birth records, they can go to a judge, get a subpoena and view the documents without Obama’s permission.

The reason the date on the certificate says republic of Kenya is that we were a republic when the “copy” of the original was ordered. I stress the word “copy”. My copy also has republic of Kenya.

So what you say is true about Kenya not being a republic at the time of Obama’s birth, however it was a republic when the copy was ordered.

The birth certificate is genuine. I assure you it will be authenticated by a forensic auditor. We are very proud Obama was born here.

We have a shrine for him and there are many people who remember his birth here as he had a white mother. They are being interviewed now by one of your media outlets.

Fortunately they even have pictures of his parents with him immediately after his birth at the Mombasa hospital with the hospital in the back ground.

It will be a proud day for us when it is proven that he was born here and a Kenyan became the most powerful man in the world.

I encourage anyone to come here and visit. I will be happy to take you and show you the pictures at the hospital myself as well as my document and many others that are identical to what Taitz posted.

The first one is a photoshopped copy of an Australian's birth certificate:



The second one was obviously fake because Mombasa was not part of the "British Protectorate of Kenya" in 1961. Also, neither the British nor their colonies used the "Month/Day/Year" format the second birth certificate uses.

When any member of Congress, any US District Court Judge or any US Supreme Court Judge reads or hears about those definitive and unequivocal statements made by two Republican officials from the state of Hawaii, they end up saying the exact same thing that the new Speaker of the House, John Boehner just said: “The state of Hawaii says that the President was born there. That’s good enough for me.”

If 58% of people have doubts about Obama’s natural born status, they can vote against him in the next election.

Obviously not a single member of Congress out of 535 had doubts because none of them filed objections to the certification of Obama’s electoral college votes at the Joint Session of Congress which was held to count and certify the vote of the Electoral College. If any two members of Congress (one Senator and one Representative) had filed a written objection with Vice President Cheney, the counting and certification would have been suspended and an immediate investigation would have ensued in BOTH Houses of Congress to resolve the source of the objection.

Your argument makes no sense until you get a single member of Congress or any state legislature to request or subpoena Obama’s BC. It is quite telling that out of the thousands of legislators in this country, not a single one has even tried that simple process. I am sure most, if not all legislators in the USA agree with Speaker Boehner’s latest statement on this issue.

You really should look up the definition non-sequitor in the dictionary so you can stop making these silly arguments. 1. According to Hawaii UIPA law, birth registration INDEX data is public and MUST be released upon request - there is no standing issue here. Yet the DoH has refused to confirm that registration number 10641 belongs to Obama.

2. The DoH refused to answer even more trivial question: Whether they issued a COLB document to Obama on June 6, 2007?

3. Obama could authorize the DoH to release his BC. IN that case interested parties would have to pay for it and the state of Hawaii could make some money. It would be a win-win situation for everyone involved, right?

The only problem is the fact that there is no long form birth certificate from 1961 that would confirm Obama’s birthplace (Kapiolani Hospital).

The Constitution does not require a president to be born in a hospital. Whether Obama was born at Kapiolani, at home or on an Oahu beach is irrelevant to his eligibility.

However the former Republican Governor of Hawaii has stated that he was born at Kapiolani and Kapiolani published a letter from Obama honoring the hospital on its 100th Anniversary and naming it as “the place of my birth.”

Obama’s birth records can be released without Obama’s permission to “a person whose right to inspect or obtain a certified copy of the record is established by an order of a court of compentent jurisdiction.”— Hawaii Revised Statutes 338-18(b)(9)

How would the DoH differentiate between people who were given the same name (or a person who changed their name as an adult to a name that already exists in the DoH database), if index data did not have a unique identifier (registration number)?

An opinion letter from OIP lawyers that specifically mentions the release of registration number as part of the index data is posted on the web.
