I refer you to my original post. Lopez SPECIFICALLY mentioned the Tea Party, and Tea Party SPEECH.
The entire exchange was disgusting. Shep sat there and let her spew that hatred.
A few minutes later, a Washington correspondent whom I had never seen before (he was wearing a yellow tie) DID mention that even though Lopez blamed the Tea Party, Ms. Giffords had some very pro-Tea Party positions—particularly on border control.
I’m not angry, I am calm, but I’ll be damned if I sit by and let someone blame the Tea Party for this violence. The Tea Party is vigilant about liberty and life.
I’ve seen this happen in South Florida with a talk show host: Joyce Kaufman. She was chosen to be Allen West’s chief of staff but was forced out because some listener threatened to kill kids because of an out-of-context sound bite about the Second Amendment.
A blatant anti-Tea Party bias by the liberal media hurt a good woman...and the person who MADE the threat was a liberal puke. The media in South Florida suddenly decided to IGNORE the story.

Linda Lopez DID accuse him of being a Tea Party Member and being an Afghan vet. (Guaranteed).
Schelp Smith did not say anything about the TP accusation, but repeated a number of times that the shooter was a vet.
Fox News ran text pointing out that Rep. Gifford’s 2009 opponent was a Tea Party candidate.
You obviously weren’t listening closely, because she specifically mentioned the tea party and their “angry signs” when asked about a possible explanation for the violent act.
I was sickened by her statements. A tragedy like this should NOT be seen as an oppurtunity to score political points. Not exactly the most classy or respectful gesture on her part!

What is frightening to me is the mention of radio programs being part of the cause of this...and TV shows...the sherrif mentioned “bigotry”...I fear that this is going to give the libs the “excuse” they wanted to take Conservatives off the air.

You know, with so many lefties making the same claim, that the Tea Party was involved, it almost seems like the democRAT talking points were put out ahead of the event. They’re all on the same page with this, like always.
