Linda Lopez (AZ State Senator) just blamed the TEA PARTY for Gifford Shooting

Interviewed via phone on FOX NEWS with Shepard Smith, Linda Lopez said the TEA PARTY attacked Giffords, and had terrible words to say about her...essentially blaming the TEA PARTY for her shooting.

Heard the same thing. Tea Party is definitely being blamed. Also heard another AZ congressman blaming harsh words or something like that. DU is claiming that FR is down to scrub Jarod Laugner's name from its user list.

Lopez did make this claim, which is reprehensible. I didn’t hear Shep attack the Tea Party or cheer on Lopez. Of course, he didn’t stop her either. He just agreed with a reporter that speculation as to political motivations of the shooter is “irresponsible.”

Predictable liberal loon response from Lopez to start politicking before the facts are in. Giffords promotes border security, 2nd Amendment (she is a gun owner) and voted against Pelosi which makes her a target of the left. Regardless, the madman perp who did this shooting must be nuts, which statistically makes it more likely he is a lefty. Stay tuned.
