I HATE this type of bull from the homosexualist agenda.
If you want to change the definition of marriage from what it has been throughout history, going back thousands of years, just say that. Then we can have an intelligent debate about the pros and cons and whether it makes sense. (It doesn’t, of course).
How are homosexuals treated as “2nd class citizens”? They have the same marriage rights as everyone else. They can marry eligible people of the opposite sex, just like you and me.
If anything they have more rights than heterosexuals as certain laws (such as “hate crimes” and anti-discrimination laws) make them a “protected class” giving them special rights.
That cannot be the best NY can do.

I realize many are tired of hearing about slavery, segregation and the sad history of this country's treatment of Blacks, but, as a Black person, I'm getting real tired of airheads like this, trying to lump homosexuals and their ilk with the civil-rights movement, AS IF they are similar.
There is no similarity! NONE! There are no "Homosexual Only" signs, water fountains, restaurants, etc. Homosexuals are NOT being denied the right to vote, to keep and bear arms, stripped of free speech rights ... to the point, there isn't a single CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT that they are being denied, NOT IN THE SAME MANNER that Blacks were denied.
She probably trying to give herself a boost towards winning Miss America by making this stupid pronouncement because she isn't very pretty. Needs all the help she can get.
