Women's Rights Must Be Guaranteed in the U.S. Constitution
We won't stand for sexists like Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia interpreting women's rights as unprotected in the U.S. Constitution. In a recent interview, Scalia erroneously stated that women are not protected under the 14th Amendment's Equal Protection Clause. Right now, five justices have the power to pick and choose when women should be considered full citizens. And that's not right.
We need to add an Equal Rights Amendment to the Constitution that will guarantee women and men equal status under the law. I stand with NOW today to demand that Congress and the states put women in the Constitution.

Man, I hate to say this out loud, but I will anyway... I agree with you. Most women do NOT think logically, they “feel” everything, and get emotionally involved. Its how we are wired. Its to do the job we were intended to do; nurture and care for our family. I have often said I would gladly put my vote in my husbands hands because I married well- if it would mean that silly emptyheaded women would NOT be able to vote for a president because he is soooo dreamy ( I have a neighbor who voted for Obama because his EARS WERE SOOOO CUTE!) WTF are these people thinking??

Let’s start with the rights of unborn women.

Scalia was correct. Has he ever NOT been, when it comes to the Constitution?

They already ARE!
The "problem" is that just as minorities of other genre's, she is asking for SPECIAL STATUS, available ONLY to women, which flies in the face of the "Equal Protection" Clause itself.
She needs to get out more....

Scalia erroneously stated that women are not protected under the 14th Amendment's Equal Protection Clause No, he actually NEVER SAID THAT.
Not that they would lie or anything.

I don’t understand this. I used to be one of them, what is it we’re “waiting for?” There isn’t any law that still discriminates against us, just what?

Sounds just like those " MITTENS " MitBots who think Mitt Romney is so dreamy... airheads, all of them...

Women have more rights than men today. They are a protected class.
Besides my rule of thumb that has not failed yet, is to look at what position NOW has on an issue, and immediately take the opposite of that.

They are your grandma’s feminists, but also much much more. Because they still believe in abortion. Hell that’s “health care” to them now.
