Ok. "Potentially". Right. So what is Islam? Oh, most definitely harmful to others. Proven. No equivocation can be tolerated on that count. Let's see Steve Jobs refute it. Please, Steve. Give it your best shot.
What a putz.
Yes, there are better strategies. I just did a search in the Apple App Store on the word "Bible". Scores of apps popped up. I stopped counting at 90 and there were lots more listed.
I also did a search on the word "Christian". Again lots of apps popped up, including:
The Christian Broadcasting Network, Radio & TV
Christian Creeds
Christian Classics Ethereal Library (lots of apps for this one)
C.S. Lewis quotes and many of his other books
Christian eCards - lots of these
LifeWay Christian Resources
Christian Prayer Journal
There are lots of apps for Christians in the Apple App Store.
One rejected app does not negate a good policy of vetting apps before allowing them in the store. It is unreasonable to become indignant over the rejection of one app when so many Christian resources are available in the App Store.
Apple also rejects pornography apps.
Strange. I have a free Holy Bible from the app store. And there’s several Holy Bible’s versions available in the iBookstore.
Without knowing the full extent of the app is question, I can’t comment on that specific app, but to say Apple doesn’t allow Christian themed apps or books is not true.
My ‘Droid doesn’t give me any BS about that ...
Jus’ sayin’ ...
You’re probably stuck in a contract with AT&T, so boycott threats are probably empty.
Well.
I was considering an Apple computer in the future. And have been tolerating a work iPhone. Now reticence now to forget the Mac and push for a Droid.
How can otherwise intelligent people like him piss on 80% of our American population with no apparent concern?

If you want on or off the Mac Ping List, Freepmail me.
Much ado about nothing, IMO. When Apple starts denying apps because they are based on Christianity specifically, let me know. Till then, pray for them that the Light of Christ’s Truth will shine into their hearts.
Not all religious are forbidden (and there are many, many more on there):

This is a horrendous affront to the Christian employees of Apple. Who is Apple to say that their views are wrong?
No, this is pretty reasonable, except remember that it's pretty much impossible to do computing these days without giving your money to a liberal company. I believe many of the bigger Silicon Valley companies were pouring money in to defeat Prop 8. A while back, your Microsoft money went to Planned Parenthood. Buy Windows, kill a baby? It's a sad, but true, state of affairs.
Is the ‘letter’ or ‘statement’ from Apple available anywhere? I see excerpts when I follow your link, did some other looking and found reference to a letter, but I can’t find this letter.
I am a fan of my Apple products, and would like to see what they have said.
There are MANY Bible apps. The Bible apps say the same things about morality since they are the source, they are not banned.
