I Wouldn’t Be So Quick to Dismiss Bachmann’s Presidential Aspirations
Iowa Republican ^ | 1/6/10 | Craig Robinson

Posted on 01/06/2011 5:44:43 AM PST by pissant

An aide for Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann told the media yesterday that Bachmann is mulling a 2012 presidential bid and is headed to Iowa to talk about the possibility with activists. Bachmann is scheduled to headline a fundraiser for the Iowans for Tax Relief PAC on January 21st in Des Moines.

For the most part, the national media isn’t taking the news seriously. LA Times politics columnist, Andrew Malcolm, blew off the idea by suggesting she is just raising her profile to in order to run for the U.S. Senate.

Another opinion writer, Jonathan Capehart of the Washington Post, wrote, “The Tea Party princess (Mama Grizzly is the Tea Party queen) must be off her rocker if she thinks she’s presidential timber.” He bases his opinion on Bachmann’s performance on Hardball with Chris Matthews of all places.

I’m sure these two paid “thinkers” got a kick out of blowing off the idea of Bachmann running for president. While their friends and cohorts surely slapped them on the back for a job well done, one thing is obvious, they don’t know a damn thing about Iowa or the Iowa caucuses.

Your list is pretty much the same as mine. I’m looking for new blood, not the same old tired repeats.

I just knew a fellow immature Palin supporter would demonstrate how IMMATURE they are too!

Thank you!

Need a tissue?

Or will you FEEL the need to personally attack ne for telling the truth, Palin is just another progressive Populist. As for me, I prefer mature conservatives.

Well if she does run it can only be appreciatively welcomed.

King, Gingrey, Woodall & Miller introed bill to end "Birthright Citizenship" yestrday Babies born to illegals will not get auto citizenship.

Think about this ... this will make your day!

Imagine Palin having a dignitary over. Naturally Todd will be seen when it is convenient and not heard since he's a male. In the Palin family, Sarah wears the pants.

To make the visit complete, she could take this person to Alaska and chop up a moose and have the eyes as a delicacy. Maybe she will get her wish and have gutting fish replace making cup cakes and brownies.

Palin has issues .... Her extreme rebellion against civility and what is normal is what progressive crave. Maybe she'll get a sex change. Whatever she does is certainly separate from me. She can be as shrill, shallow and petty as she likes. She will not get my vote or support.

Michelle has way more on the ball than Sarah.

Sarah is Hiesman winner.

Michelle is Tom Brady.

Whole different pedigree.

If DeMint is GREAT. I wish he had executive experience—but that’s a minor quibble. DeMint is principled and courageous. Just what we need now. He has also been vetted and it’s difficult for the MSM to tear him down. He knows the game well and just keeps smiling!

I really like King too. I could go for that.

I heard one of those guys, the newest I think, on Greta’s show yesterday. This Birthright Citizenship bill will probably have Holder all over it in short order making the same argument he made on the Arizona bill.

That sounds like what Rush says he uses to confuse libs.
If they say Sarah Palin is unqualified, or dumb, or whatever, he replies

“yeah, give us four more years of 0bama”

and they cock their heads sideways and try to figure out what he means.

Michele is 8 or so years older than Palin. In the prime of life, that makes a difference in the wisdom collected and absorbed.
