WASHINGTON (AP) Sen. John McCain says he would support congressional work toward an overhaul of the immigration system once "the borders have been secured."

He is such a “maverick”.....
*rolls eyes*
Why would anyone believe this McCain scum.
He supported the extraction of Kosovo from Serbia to create a jihadi narco state whose muslim narco leaders engaged in organ trafficking.
People in AZ must be elated at the “surprising” turn of events!
AZ and SC senators are killing us as much as those from NY and MA.
Thank you Arizona for giving this chump to us for ANOTHER 6 years.
No, his time has “only just begun” in AZ! People there adore him as they do Sandra Day O’Connor.
That sounds fair. We trade one bushel basket of amnesty for two bushel baskets of empty promises on enforcement. That sounds fair to me.
Got that right.
“A dog returns to its vomit” seems to be the appropriate quote here.
The Republican House needs to pass, asap, a stand-alone border security bill that will immediately assign 10,000 troops to the US border (not lightly armed border security agents), who will remain in place until a permanent wall has been built on the southern border. It should be devoid of any pork projects and any reference to immigration. Get this passed and implemented, then start dealing with the illegals who are already here.
“Get this passed and implemented, then start dealing with the illegals who are already here.”
If they enforce the border I will give the same weight to their requst for amnesty that they will give to coninued enforcement. In other words we will look at amnesty again in 30 years.
Ping!
Why don't you lead by example John? You know, GO HOME.
America really does not need to rehash your butt kissing to the illegals.
Many seem to have forgotten that "comprehensive immigration reform" (a.k.a. amnesty) is what lost the GOP control of congress in 2006, leading to the sham of a presidency we have today. Juan and his sad excuse for a campaign also bear a large responsibility for that as well. Sorry Juan, we're done voting for you because of your war record. Thanks for your service, but you're no Ronald Reagan.
True, and there are still all too many Republicans who will not admit the huge damage done by the Bush/Rove amnesty pushes in 2006 and 2007, and that they were the primary reason for the nosedive of Republican power from the 2004 elections to the 2008 elections.
And the Republican amnesty pushers (Juan is easing back toward amnesty now that he hoodwinked his way to another six years) will be back, but hopefully the new House will kill any amnesty nonsense for the next several years.
Someone should paint a yellow stripe right down the middle of his front and back. That way he’d know right where to stand, straddling the party lines.
IMO, this guy has a post office box in Republicanville, and a million dollar home in Decmocratville.
Thank you DixieChick2000.
That may be. But McAmesty/Bipartisan is running against his biological clock so eventually he will pass on—figuratively and literally. Could care less about O’Conner. She is no longer a public figure.
That said, I appreciate your frustration with AZ voters. Illegals are absorbing much of their tax dollars, but they are too dumb/propagandized to understand it.
I would hope AZ Tea Parties are busy trying to educate voters there.
...wasted again in RINOville.Lookin for his outlaw shaker of Geritol.
He seems to be invigorated by crossing the isle. I sure wish he’d make it official, and quit coming back.
How many times are they going to try for the gold on that nonsense?
Juan McQuisling..
