Elizabeth Edwards cut her louse of a spouse out of her will - less than a week before she died.
The wronged wife of former presidential candidate John Edwards, who died last month after a courageous battle with breast cancer, left everything in her sole possession to their three children.
"All of my furniture, furnishings, household goods, jewelry, china, silverware and personal effects and any automobiles owned by me at the time of my death I give and bequeath to my children," the will says.
Edwards' eldest daughter Cate, a lawyer, was named as the executor of the will, according to Inside Edition, which obtained a copy.
John Edwards was not mentioned even once in will - though his work as a trial lawyer generated the family's fortune.
His net worth through courtroom work has been pegged at more than $25 million.

It takes a lot to destroy someone’s love and faith in you. I would think if you keep your vows, your love will survive even the grave.
John Edwards threw it all away and I don’t feel in the least sorry for him.
His wife didn’t deserve to be betrayed.
Edwards is strange in many ways, besides being an adulterer, but Mrs. Edwards was a piece of work, too. Both of them were the kind of neighbors one hopes to never have. I wish their children well, though it’s hard to imagine that they have escaped their parents’ dysfunctional ways unscathed.
I had low regard for her but may her soul Rest in Peace.
As for the scumbucket John Edwards, aren’t we fortunate we did not end up with him as President!
We’re so lucky, we got the Obamanation instead.
.... but just imagine if the Edwards soap opera had played out into the White House....
There’s always another ambulance for John to chase.
She should have left him with one dollar ... the traditional method of overcoming a “He/She forgot to leave me anything” probate appeal.
I agree with your view of Elizabeth Edwards.
She was willing to foist that SOB on the American public knowing full well what a POS he really was.
America was spared from both of them being anywhere near high office.
That doesn’t show the entire picture does it? If they were still married, John has access and control to all the money. Unless they divided the money before she died.
Principle!
Plus community property rights if they exist in their State... her share will go to the children. Doesn’t matter if he earned the money... she was entitled to her share from the marriage and she can bequeath that.
It’s not like she has completely disavowed her “husband”. I have no doubt that she will still vote for him and for the liberal to socialist candidates he supports in every election over the next decade.
His name isn’t the only thing she should have cut out or off.
That little weasel needs a man to kick his ass.
I never liked her but a man does not treat his wife like that!
I think you and her are very lucky to be there for each other. God bless.
Don't know if theirs is a community-property state, but if it is, half of it is hers, no matter who "earned it". This could strip him of $12.5 million....not a small loss.
Six months from now, they’ll all be breaking bread together with the step mom. It’s the extended family & all will be happy.
I can’t remember where I read it but I did read that Elizabeth was very wealthy before she married the sleaze.
Dying bitter earns Mrs. Edwards a posthumous appointment to the First Wives Club.
He not only betrayed her, he left her at her weakest, in deathly illness, to die alone knowing that the man she built her life upon had discarded her liked so much trash.
I don't want to think about what awaits him come final judgment.
Maybe more than the china.... I think last year “they” hid a lot of their property and cash by transferring to her. This was to protect the assets from being lost by suits against the johnnyboy.
Or was that algore and tipper???? Is there any difference, its so hard to tell one slimeball scam-artist dem from another?
