The feds have launched a criminal probe into allegations first reported by The Post that city sanitation workers conspired to paralyze the Big Apple during last weeks blizzard with a potentially deadly job slowdown, authorities confirmed yesterday.
-snip-
The Brooklyn and Queens district attorneys yesterday confirmed that they, too, are investigating the scandal.

What would move Holder to ask for more than slaps on the wrist to these party-obedient drones?
The babies and senior citizens who died in the sanitation union job action were “people of color”. While the Queens and Brooklyn DA’s have starting their investigations, where is Reverend Al, Jessie Jackson and Barack The Kenyan on this tragedy? Why aren’t they denouncing the mostly-white sanitation union and demanding justice?
The unions have been getting too uppity and need their nose swatted by their owners.
The workers are ‘insulted’ that we would believe they didn’t do their job.
As for the investigation...........the results will be the same as with good ole Sinater Dodd.
No problem at all. Not guilty.
Feds digging into Sanit snow 'conspiracy' (Mail fraud, wire fraud, manslaughter for union thugs?)GOOD!
This is exactly what I suggested after the NY Post broke the story.
Now the US Attorneys for the other NYC Borroughs better get on board pdq.
an aside: I'd revise that 'Manslaughter' to Felony Murder since the deaths were the result on an ongoing criminal conspiracy - a Felony.
AND......
They’ll get prosecuted right after Holder is finished going after the Black Panthers.
All for show, not a damn thing will happen to anyone, with the exception of maybe public embarrassment.
The House Pubbies need to hold hearings and take testimony. Under oath.

That was my first thought too...just like O.J. is still looking for the real killer.
Sanitation Commissioner John Doherty, gave his crews an A+?
This clown went to the Baghdad Bob school of B.S.
But my bet is the feds are involved to do damage contol, not investigate or prosecute.
...the ole Jamie Gorelick investigative policy
Wasn’t it just two or three years ago that the Mississippi flooded and a female governor (don’t remember her name) of one of those states received a call from Washington DC telling her to hold off calling out the National Guard?
Which is why the House Pubbies ned to hold hearings.
As for my question, I know that the whole idea of a Constitution is moot these days, but wouldn't there have to be some "interstate commerce" involved to justify RICO? (I suppose someone could say that the trucks they use were built out of state, but that is why I keep pointing to Hamilton's words in Federalist No. 28. It's really bad, and it's going to get worse until some use their courage and despair as Hamilton suggested.)

IF a real investigation is done (cough-cough) it will show New Yorkers who’s really running their city and it’s not the mayor.
