A federal appeals court has temporarily blocked the EPAs plan to seize control of greenhouse gas permits from Texas.
The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency must wait until at least Friday so the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia can make a decision on Texas bid to prevent the federal takeover.

The case involves a federal agency.
Lets hope theres permanent ban on the EPA all around!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Well we all know just how respectful of the Courts these marxists are. The only time they cite court decisions is when they agree with their marxist’s agenda and perversion and butchery. But just let a Court rule in favor of the Constitution and well...
Such as with the FCC-Net Neutrality
Court ruling overturning the ban on drilling (that really worked)
And now this...
Yes, I’m sure that everything will now stop. /s
Smokey Robinson, on line two...something about where’s his royalty payment.
Thanks for the clarification.
Awesome news!
“During this window, Texas should issue a blanket 10 year renewal for every factory, refinery, and other industrial concern in the state.”
Mega good idea!!!

Why?
It was the USSC that said CO2 was a pollutant which gives the EPA carte blanche to do as it wills.
Good point. You'd think that the supremes, of all groups, would at least have applied the constitution. Or at a bare minimum would have cited science in the matter.
Thanks AAC! Just another small step on a long journey through the rat’s maze laid out by our would-be masters. I’ve added tags and also got it into frontpage news until it drops off the list. Freepers need to at least be aware of Texas winning a skirmish in the long battle ahead.
Texas can take control anytime they want. They have a national Guard don’t they?
The EPA will win on appeal. It’ll go on from there. Hopefully they’ll at least issue a stay.
LMAO!!
Heavens, no! That court isn't in the pocket of the DC scum!
JUST 10 years? Why not 1000? I mean if Texas is intent on making a defining statement about the separation of State and Federal powers, they ought to make a BIG statement. If it’s important (and I believe it is) don’t fiddle around; make a declaration having gravity equal to the moment!
With the COLD Weather Killing fish in Baltimore and Arkansas, One would think the HOT AIR about CO2 and Global warming “EPA Regulations” would acknowledge that the CO2 Warming isn’t working right now....check back with us in 10 years.....
Hey, EPA.....Don’t mess with Texas, its gonna HURT
