HONOLULU (AP) -- President Barack Obama ended his nearly two-week Hawaiian vacation on a somber note Monday, taking his daughters to visit his grandfather's grave.
The president's motorcade wound through the island of Oahu's mountainous terrain late Monday afternoon on its way to National Memorial Cemetery of the Pacific at Punchbowl.

Any ‘Clinton on the beach’ moments to be seen?
Biting my tongue in light of recent threads
Will he visit his other relative’s graves in Kenya?
Will he visit his other relative’s graves in Kenya?
I visited Punchbowl National Cemetery on my way to Japan in 1958. Our ship docked in Honolulu for a day and a half. Took a Gray Line Tour, which included Punchbowl. There are many heroes buried there, including Ernie Pyle. Can’t imagine why a Dunham would be buried there. Is that cemetery open to just anyone?

There were so many corpses spinning in that place that it’s a wonder the whole graveyard didn’t just flip over.
There’s common and then there’s dead common, common.
Gramps was a honky commie.
leave it to the AP Obama jock-sniffers to humanize this POS president. He’s probably having an ice cream summit at the graveyard.
I’m currently reading “With The Old Breed: At Peleliu and Okinawa” by Eugene B. Sledge. And watching the HBO
Mini-Series “The Pacific”, which the producers used Sledges book as source material for.
The thought of O’Mama sliming the Punchbowl makes me want to wretch. The battle scenes in the the mini-series are utterly
horrific.
It’s a wonder he could be bothered to give up his golf long enough to drive by the grave. I wonder what movie they were watching in the limo?
Sigh....
Cap the entire debacle off with a tearjerker.
For the Americans, the Pacific was by far the most vicious war and the toughest on the men.
Why is this news?
If released by the White House, then it is self-serving drivel not worth publishing.
If not released from the White House, then it is a moment of respect that should be private. This is still America and even communists should be allowed to offer their respects in private.
Either way, it was very out of bounds (agenda driven) for the press to report on this.
never misses a moment to splash his regime in front of us. The “look at me, aren’t I just like you?” crap......
he is a traitor and a liar and his activities are slated to make people see WHO he isn’t, not who he is! I can hardly wait until “what goes around.....”
Very “touching” photo-opp there Barry...where were you when your grandmother died a couple of years ago...I hear you kept her on ice for a month or two before she was finally buried. Didn’t hear about you attending the funeral. I mean, she only RAISED your sorry, heartless ass.
