Mayoral candidate Carol Moseley Braun today said she won't make her tax returns public before next month's election."Because I don't want to," Braun said when asked why she wouldn't be releasing them in the time before the Feb. 22 election.Fellow candidates Rahm Emanuel and Gery Chico already have released their tax returns.

The main difference is if a Democrat refuses to provide information or documents, the MSM assumes there is nothing there and it is a private matter. If a Republican refuses in the same way, the MSM begins to aggressively speculate as to what that person is trying to hide.
