Amen to that. I don't know why they bother with the annoying formalities of an election in Chicago.

There is no primary. There is a non partisan first round where if the leading candidate does not get 50% of the vote +1 there is a run off between the two leading candidates.

Why Meeks or Davis pulled out is a puzzlement both have more experience and a lot less baggage than Braun. If Braun gets past the first round to face Rham (which I hope she won’t, she’s a shill for Rahm both are going after Cesco). Chicago in either case is a big loser and the big push for the 2012 re-election of Obama is what this is all about will be on..
