While I am no fan of Linsey Graham in general, he is spot on with this statement.

Ya, and all retired House and Senate members can’t receive retirement benefits exceeding Social Security benefits. Same restrictions as John Q. Public buddy!

First off, SS Medicare will have to restrict the pool of beneficiaries.

Second off, chain migration immigrants who have not paid into the system MUST be first to have benefits cut in the system before ANY American worker or spouses of workers have benefits reduced in the system.

Third off, chain migration immigrants who have not paid into the system MUST be removed from the system before ANY American worker or spouses of workers are removed from the system.

Fourth, military budgets must be reduced before ANY social welfare net benefits are cut to taxpayers.

Fifth, military personnel, active, veteran and dependents must not receive cuts that exceed those of the civil population. The current injustice of the cut off age for dependents on TriCare being a lower age than ObamaCare must be corrected for any good faith dialog to move forward.

Sixth, the costs of illegal aliens, ponzi scheme pension obligations, bloated payrolls and predatory Wall Street bond underwriters on the budgets of municipal, county and state governments must be addressed as those deficits are causing the local and state governments to default on their bonds and default on their pension and medical benefits coverage plans.... leaving the Federal taxpayers through the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC). The pension collapse tsunami has started... Federal pension programs will not survive is every sub-Federal pension program falls into receivership of the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation (PBGC).

Seventh, the Tea Party needs to get real about their “consitutional view of Limited Government” because SS, Medicare, Medicaid, Military budgets, and Federal highway and transportation subisides that allow Americans to live suburban lifestyles must be on the chopping block equally to other programs.

Eighth, Lindsey the tart is the least liked Senator on both sides of the Republican party and both sides of the aisle when it comes to brokering real fiscal controls and reductions upon the American Federal budget.

Ninth, any and every media outlet, however small or large, that repeats verbatim Graham’s agitation or gives Graham a platform to repeat his newest propaganda... is an enemy of the people of this country and enemy of the continuing functioning of the North American economy.

How about just ending an unsustainable ponzi scheme and send its supporters to jail just like Madoff

Why reduce them?

They contributed just like everyone else.

This is government theft aka just another day in Obamaland.

We’ve paid into Social security all our lives. If Congress hadn’t used Social Security as a giant slush fund, there would be enough money.

So seniors who also saved are going to be penalized.

Why don’t we penalized the union and government pensions too. They are going to have a lot more in retirement and can retire much earlier than the rest of us. But the government isn’t going to touch these pensions.

Hey, Graham why don’t you offer to give up your pension.

"What I'm going to do is challenge this country to make some hard decisions," Graham said at the time..

And Senator Graham, I challenge YOU to 'make a hard decision'..

Come Out Of The Closet!

If you want to put and a dress and dance the Foxtrot with 'Bruce' all night long fine, but then be honest about it twinkle toes.

Grahmnesty is right on this one.

If we conservatives expect to be taken seriously, we need to encourage the tough choices that are necessary to make the government solvent.

One of these is means-testing Social Security and Medicare. It has been known for some time that this is necessary, but Democrats have resisted it, because they fear a reduction in political support for the program if it is not universal. In addition, they've used it to demagogue against conservatives.

There is no option. Either these programs are means-tested, or the whole pyramid scheme will soon come crashing down.

The wealthy pay the most into the social security system. They get the least percentage of wages out of the system and now the liberals want to take all of it away. If they accomplish that then the time to start shooting has arrived. Remember Social Security was supposed to be insurance but has become part welfare. We need to defeat this POS.

This will turn Social Security into a welfare program when it was intended to be a social support program for every elderly person. Warren Buffett has as much right to collect his Social Security as a poor man. I don't know if he does, but he certainly has the right.

Medicare and Social Security are unsustainable and we must find ways to fix the problems. Some headway could be made through a general reduction in the size of government and the selling of federal assets to pay current and future liabilities in both systems. Incoming Social Security receipts must be protected for future recipients instead of being stolen to pay for other government projects.

Cut Legislative pay to the average Social Security benefit, and then put Legislators on Social Security Retirement.

The best idea...

Make necessity the mother or American invention again.

Stop all welfare payments, free school breakfast, lunch, and dinners, all medicaid/medicare for able bodied persons, all coverages for illegal indigents, etc., etc. etc.

Poverty is not a luxery. Either work or create work.

Leave the seniors alone.

“He made the argument in an interview on Sunday’s Meet the Press”

There are how many U.S. Senators, and how many GOP U.S. Senators??

Yet the media gives RINO Graham more air time than all other GOP Senators combined.

Why? Only one reason - THEY like him; and if the media likes him THAT much, the grassroots of the GOP has reason enough in that fact to dismiss Graham completely.

The voters need to make an easy decision and fire you, Lindsey.

What needs to happen is that the social programs and angencies that have been built up to literally pilfer social security need to be cut back. The welfare programs that are built up based on illegitmacy need to be cut back so we do away with welfare Mommas.

All you pols who are so willing to pilfer hard working Americans who have become successful need to be turned out and run out of town on a rail...with a good dose of tar and feathers on hand should they become necessary.

Can we all agree, TP or not, that Lindslee, the quintessential RINO, will be among the top targets for a primary challenge when his time is up?

Anyone with as clogged and tangential a memory as his does not deserve to represent anyone. Lindslee has obviously forgotten that since the mid-1980’s, everyone with an annual income or more than $25,000 has had his and hers and its SoshSecurity taxed at some rate or another. Changes in 1993 upped the taxes somewhat but kept the floor (defines “rich”, Lindslee???) at $25,000+...
