Fireworks in the city have been illegal for years. The kids across the street always did a few, but not that many. This year they are legal from 8pm to 1am. IT IS NOISY, just one street over, and I’m getting a show of the ones “bursting in air”.

You should be wet enough that there won’t be any fires...yes? Thankfully I’m not hearing any boomers.

Our Rachel did the same thing. She was terrified of fireworks.

I believe Rainbow Bridge has banned loud noises! :)

Oh no...poor dog. I can just imagine the poor guy home alone.

My Dad’s last dog, Shadow, never got uptight about anything, including fireworks. Miki, before Shadow, hated any loud noises and immediately sought out anyone’s under desk space and made himself as small as possible. I felt so bad for him. Reassurances and petting did no good at all.

Saw one of the best fireworks shows at the Space Needle tonight. On TV, of course...it’s too cotton-pickin’ COLD out there to see it in person. It also let me enjoy a bottle of Barefoot Bubbly champagne with the Lovely Wife.
