I read my Bible and I have tried to forgive them (all Muslims), yet my heart and brain will not allow me to forgive them. I should be sad that I cannot forgive them, yet I am not. My understanding is that it is not our forgiveness to give, only the families of the victims can forgive, and even they can only forgive the murderers of their own loved ones.
