PASADENA, Calif. -- Thousands of volunteers were hard at work in Pasadena and Irwindale getting the floats ready for the 122nd Rose Parade Presented by Honda, but one float in particular is much more than just a float.
"It's a dream come true for me. This is something I've wanted to do for nine years," said Jerry Thomsen, a firefighter specialist.
When America was attacked more than nine years ago, a group of Los Angeles firefighters headed to Ground Zero to help, and Thomsen was among them. Now he and his L.A. firefighting buddies are honoring their fallen comrades in a uniquely Californian way.
"I've heard 'never forget' for a long time, and I think we've forgotten about our heroes that we lost," he said.

As for the living Moslems, Jesus said to love our enemies and to pray for them that hurt us.
Mohammedans need prayer. Every day, many of them are coming to Christ. Many of them risk their lives, their families, and all that they own to renounce the death cult of Islam and embrace Christ.
One Mohammedan convert says that the house of Islam is all hard on the outside, but soft and rotting on the inside. I have friends working in the mission field "Behind the Sun", as they say. They are preaching Jesus and making inroads.
Pray that they succeed.

One man I know had the following vision of the Apocalyptic Map of the World. I don't vouch for it's accuracy, but it is chilling, nonetheless.
WWII lasted six years. We bombed Germany into oblivion. Hitler committed suicide. We nuked Japan. They unconditionally surrendered.

America is the only hope for those who are oppressed by others. Moslems are oppressed, yet moslems direct their hate toward America. This makes no sense to me why moslems hate what offers them freedom from oppression. Thank You again, I promise I shall remain in prayer.

They even murder eachother for not being the same kind of Moslem. There was a time when so-called Christians did this also.
However, the rulebook for Christians, the Bible, opposes such behavior, so as Christians became more familiar with their fundamental teachings, the more kind and tolerant they become of eachother as well as towards those who don’t believe.
The very opposite is true for Islam. The more a Mohammedan becomes familiar with his “prophet” and his rabid teachings, the more violent and intolerant he becomes.
Remember that Jesus took upon Himself all our sins, died a horrible death, suffering the pains and torments due to each and every one of us for every sin we ever did or will commit. Yet, He forgives us. We must follow HIS example.
Love and peace to you, my brother. I am confident that Jesus will calm your heart and that you will be able to deal with the necessity of converting Moslems, or defending your life and family against them, as required by circumstance, without being emotionally wrought by hatred for the individual.
