Mayor Bloomberg will order a probe into allegations that Sanitation Department told drivers to snarl the cleanup effort to protest budget cuts, saying this morning it "would be an outrage" if workers intentionally did not clear streets.

If it can be proven that black communities received disproportionately inferior service, I honestly wouldn’t rule out a federal investigation. The odds are not high, but certainly it’s possible. [Unless Holder is too busy dodging GOP subpoenas to do his usual hack job.]
Holder will throw the black mother in Brooklyn and her dead newborn baby under the bus. He will do what the union thugs tell him to do.
It is within the realm of possibility that the people of NY might finally have had enough. If the backlash over this becomes loud and protracted enough, the cover-up could fail.
This degree of vicious insolence ought to be answered with manslaughter charges.
Round ‘em the f-— up!
Skip suing the city, SUE THE UNION! They probably have more money anyways!
Funny that the only vehicles they seem to have available to attach plows to are garbage trucks. The city has no road maintenance dump trucks built for (among other things) plowing?
Yes, and the media will follow suit - including the Post, I’m afraid. Everyone for some reason is scared to death of Bloomberg and if he says the fix is in - the fix is in.
We’ve got to stop electing billionaires who only take $1 a year. They may not steal money from taxpayers but they are highly corrupt in their own way. I’ve been down on Bloomberg since he outlawed smoking; I’ve never been proven wrong on how bad this guy is.
Geez, who’s Bloomberg’s advisor on natural disasters, Ray Nagin?
See post 43. All is not lost until and unless the people of NYC give up. We’ll see what they end up doing.
Might as well have a German Oompah Band in to play...
No, it won’t happen: he is a bad man.
When he first ran for mayor, this guy Mark Green was the frontrunner. 9/11 happened, Guiliani endorsed Bloomberg and Mark Green released an ad that recounted an awful story about a woman employee of Bloomberg who became pregnant. According to the ad - and the story - Bloomberg said to the woman: KILL IT. People were repulsed by this ad and voided Green (who was no bargain himself). I always believed this story to be true. And one day I hope to be vindicated.
The wildcard in all of this is the dead newborn baby. If the baby is black (99%+ chance given the neighborhood), it puts the liberals in a difficult situation.
It will be interesting to see how the denial of service to black neighborhoods by white sanitation union bosses will be portrayed by the liberal media and the race pimps.
My bet is that Bloomberg and the Unions are going to pay off the mom of the dead baby and send her to the Caribbean until the storm blows over.
Who they need to sue is the unions behind this. That will put a real hurt on them, and maybe wake some people up that these lefty outfits really don’t give a flake about anyone but their own sorry selves.
Quite the contrary. Here's how Rudy handled a similar storm:
Back in 1996, a similar monster storm struck our city. It dumped 20 inches, closed airports, and left drifts 20-feet high.Note the use of NG humvees as ambulances, That baby's death is on Bloomie as much as on the plow drivers.Former Mayor Rudy Giuliani not only declared a snow emergency and ordered all nonessential vehicles off the road, he took 3,300 city buses out of service so they wouldn't block sanitation trucks and rescue vehicles.
Giuliani also asked then-Gov. George Pataki for help. Pataki dispatched 400 national guardsmen with 100 Humvees that were used as ambulances to transport medical supplies and health workers.
Bloomberg needs to resign and just declare himself emperor of ENTIRE KNOWN WORLD.
What about the outrage that Bloomberg presents...he is the biggest outrage of all...
HERE is video of these criminal union LOSERS destroying a victims car!

I see he is beginning his coverup by blaming others.
How can people do business with such a snake in the grass?
