Already the republican heirarchy is engaged in stirring the pot and muddying the waters for the next election. They know the conservative flank is restless so the big boys'll try anything to make sure the slate is composed of those they figure they can suborn. Or of those whom they have already suborned. Next we'll be hearing from the Huckabee household, the Bush household, then the Colin Powell household. There are a few of us who keep exhorting the right to not base all of its hopes upon the ballot box but everyone keeps making the same mistake. Doesn't anyone get this? We are being played for fools.
