THE earth continues to get warmer, yet it’s feeling a lot colder outside. Over the past few weeks, subzero temperatures in Poland claimed 66 lives; snow arrived in Seattle well before the winter solstice, and fell heavily enough in Minneapolis to make the roof of the Metrodome collapse; and last week blizzards closed Europe’s busiest airports in London and Frankfurt for days, stranding holiday travelers. The snow and record cold have invaded the Eastern United States, with more bad weather predicted.

As global temperatures have warmed and as Arctic sea ice has melted over the past two and a half decades, more moisture has become available to fall as snow over the continents.

One wonders if the author is stupid enough to believe garbage like this, or if he's just thinks his readers are stupid enough to believe it.

Well, the thing about global warming causing, you know, warming didn't work out so well. So instead of junking the theory, it's been modified to claim that global warming causes, you know, cooling.

These people have to be dying inside, as their justifications and excuses for why their theory isn't panning out become more ridiculous.

Global Warming Hoax is right. I was handed a book at a TEA Party that was interesting to read about “global warming”. It points out that the “scientists” that are tracking the temperatures for the data are placing them in some interesting locations. Years ago the weather stations were mostly in rural areas (over grass) while today they are in mostly urban areas (over asphalt). This by itself could account for the “change” in data but several of the stations are located at the end of runways were they are warmed by the exhaust of planes and others are located next to air conditioning exhaust fans...

Yeah, but, if the globe was warmer, then wouldn’t all this extra moisture in the air (from the ice caps melting and warmer oceans evaporating), wouldn’t it fall mostly as rain? not snow? in most places, like Atlanta, Georgia, for instance?

Now why in the world would the NYT publish a guest op-Ed and not feel it necessary to actually list her “research firm” which no doubt relies on government grants/contracts to survive? Yes, that is rhetorical.

One other thing I’ve noticed lately is what seems to be the slow disappearance of comment sections in various pro-Democrat websites. Some sites have none while other sites like NYT have them sporadically. I’ve personally come to the conclusion that if a site such as...oh...Bloomberg...allows no comments then I have no interest in giving the site any credence when compared to sites that allow open reader criticism.

Yes, Judah, there is Global Warming. It exists as certainly as self-delusion and conceit and arrogance exist, and you know that they abound and give to your life its highest beauty and joy. Alas! how dreary would be the world if there were no Global Warming. It would be as dreary as if there were no Judah. There would be no childlike faith then, no fantasy, no grants to make tolerable this existence. We should have no enjoyment, except in sense and sight. Not believe in Global Warming! You might as well not believe in fairies, excuse me, Gays! You might get your NASA to launch satellites to watch in all the chimneys on all the power plants to catch Global Warming, but even if they did not see Global Warming, what would that prove? Nobody sees Global Warming, but that is no sign that there is no Global Warming. The most real things in the world are those that neither scientists nor mere humans can see. Did you ever see fairies dancing in Central Park? Of course not, but that’s no proof that they are not there. Nobody can conceive or imagine all the wonders there are unseen and unseeable in the world.

That is an insidous and unjustified slander of one of the greatest scientists who ever lived, Ptolmey. And I am serious. Ptolmey was great scientist, a far better and more signficant scientists than any of these global warming hacks, and a far better scientist than almost any of his critics.
