Fully 17 years ago, this “ethicist” was advocating the position that babies should not be considered human until 30 days AFTER BIRTH and that parents should be free to kill any child they didn’t want up until the 0 days had elapsed. He also thought doctors should have the right to kill disabled infants outright, even without the parents’ consent.
Five years later, this modern day Mengele was made Decamp Professor of Bio-ethics at Princeton!

Sarah Palin’s large family and the fact that she has a Downs syndrome child mean that the elites in the Ivy League and on the East Coast will always despise and oppose her.

Bureaucrats with “regulation authority” are a whole other kettle of rotten fish. Once this junk is written into regulation...it is nearly impossible to get it taken out.

At Doctor’s office she was asked a couple of times, and I just kept reiterating she had Healthcare POA. It was done for money was my feeling, as they get paid to discuss this stuff. The PA came in discussed it, then left, and came back so I felt it was considered a seperate counseling sessiion.

I’m glad you warned me, because if it ever happens to me, I will tell them flat out that I am not interested. Although if I was not prepared for their “chat”, I might have been too polite and wasted my time with them, as well as encourage them to “chat” with others.
I was surprised, as it isn’t supposed to start until Jan 2011, so either it was premature, or just on their mind. I’m rethinking some things myself, on my own healthcare, and will be leaving that doctors office.
