President George W. Bush's recently released memoir,"Decision Points"
"...has sold an astonishing two million copies since it was released in early November-and it's not even in paperback yet....published in both hardcover and e-book form, (the book) is flying off the shelves, the Crown Publishing Group says.
By contrast, former president Bill Clinton;s memoir, "My Life," has logged sales of 2.2 million copies since it was first published in 2004."
President Bush remains nearly universally vilified by the nattering nabobs of our liberal media intelligentsia: what could explain the public snapping up more copies of W's memoirs in a month than Bill Clinton (who has always been the object of media adoration) was able to peddle in over 6 years?
Out beyond the reach of the liberal spin machine running 24/7 in our education, media and entertainment industries lies an intelligent, largely conservative populace, bone-weary of the propaganda machine and the progressive failures it supports. That conservative base turned to the alternative media long prior to the run-up to the 2010 mid-term elections and relied upon it for inspiration and information vital to making the correct voting decisions. President Bush's memoirs at long last provide an unvarnished narrative of his service as an effective Commander-in-Chief minus the bullying, belittling and ankle-biting of the Lilliputian liberal media.
Books like "Decision Points," Mark Levin's "Liberty and Tyranny" and the works of Sarah Palin and Glenn Beck help provide the ideological bulwark for our modern Tea Party movement. Welcome to the alternative media and congratulations on the success of your memoir, Mr. President. May you sell 10 million more!

I’d have read Bill Clinton’s book, and Hillary’s, if I’d thought either one of them would be honest.
I'm glad I lived long enough to see a man like this at the helm.
Who wants to live the pockets of Clinton, after he sullied the Oval Office & the White House with his sexual escapades????
Certainly not me!!! I’ve been lied to enough by the Clintons-—I won’t pay any more money to get more lies.
I’ll save some money to buy Bush’s book. Also, Sarah Palin’s newest book.
Probably so. This is a basic human desire.
So why are millions gobbling up all the baloney fed them by the Leftists?
I just finishes “Decision Points”. found it an enjoyable read, however, it did frustrate me in how much W cared for other people’s feelings when making certain decisions.
I still like W but am still disappointed in some of his decisions.

We all here knew that our President Bush was more popular it was the communist media that wanted everyone to think the Pervert is the one that everyone loves..All propaganda..
I was at my appointment at the cardiologist office last week and guess what, he ask what I was reading which it was the book on Obama that is called The Roots of Obama’s Rage..He told me he had just bought President Bushes new book and planned to take time on the holidays to read it..He also told me that Sarah Palin is his favorite so hoped she runs for president..He said she has more brains in her little finger than any of the others that might run has..I agree..
Because they are to stupid to think for themselves. IMHO
So did Gitmo close yet? I Obama a war criminal yet? ;~))
Wake up Sheeple. It was from W's authoritarian precedents in the name of W.O.T. which Obama got his ideas. Party Blind Sheep BAAHHH!!!!! Until this cycle is broken at the poles our nation will live under it.
No it doesn’t. It starts with basic town hall politics. These are the people who decide about the candidates. The good old boy structure has ruined the decision making on good solid conservative candidates. Before anything gets corrected, attack local governments decisions, then from there the rest will be easy.
...critique from a Palin fan.
Another Gore/Kerry supporter weighs in with the “they are all the same” mantra and blah blah blah.
You're very much right on that. I agree with that approach as well. The tyrants establish their roots from there and grow. A liberal Chancellor of a county court may one day be a federal district court judge. A corrupt mayor may become a congressman or senator. In the case of Tennessee we had one by-pass any ;lower office and go straight to the governors office a few decades ago.
Lamar Alexander for example was an underling of former senator Howard Baker and former roommate of Trent Lott. He worked his way after governor into Poppy's Administration and was backed by W Jr to replace Fred Thompson as senator. Believe it or not a few posters on the Tennessee Board still think of Lamar Alexander is a Conservative. The man has been a Big Government Liberal in all his elected and federally appointed capacities.
Hey Clown Bush said those words in debate to the effect "Me and Mr Gore are not that far apart on issues" I didn't. Or is Bush a LIAR perhaps? I'm certain some Freepers like myself still remember it. The difference between you and me is I didn't want Gore politics period not even the Gore Lite Bush version.
IF The GOP Congress had not given Precious George all those new and expanded federal powers and programs do you think Obama would be the threat to our freedom he is today? You're of the typical My Beloved W does no wrong crowd. Well he did and we're paying for it. George W Bush made the election of Obama possible. He took the nation further left in his tenure as POTUS than even LBJ. He was just what he claimed to be as a POTUS meaning GORE LITE.
Got W’s book as a Christmas present. Told my ultra, ultra liberal sister-in-law it was the best present I got this year. She basically quit speaking to me saying “I made her sick to her stomach!” Well, I got a good laugh out of it and did my heart a world of good!
Damn! Are you sure you’re in the right place? Not that Bush did everything right, and we fought him we he needed fighting, but come on! Your hatefulness is astonishing and repulsive!
