It's Christmas Eve, so let's treat ourselves to something conservative political junkies enjoy: handicapping the 2012 Republican field.
On the Fox News Special Report this evening, panelists Stephen Hayes and Charles Krauthammer both singled out Mitch Daniels as a man to watch. Hayes identifed the Indiana gov as perhaps the true Tea Party candidatesomeone willing to speak the hard truths about the need for entitlement reform. The ever-interesting Krauthammer found Daniels' lack of charisma appealing--as an antidote to our overdose of hope-and-change.

he has been bought
Note: NONE of the panelists expressed enthusiasm for Mitt Romney, though Hayes handicapped the field as “Mitt Romney and then everybody else.”
Stephen Hayes and Charles Krauthammer can pound sand. I intend to vote for Palin, period.
Me too, a lot of us will. The saboteurs like Krauthammer and Rove must suspect this.
And some of that blood you’ll see will be mine.
Palin-2012
Man, talk about whistling past the graveyard...did they even mention her name?
LOL
This is going to be fun to watch.
I liked what another FReeper said the other day...Mitch Daniels has no discernible facial features, no one will vote for him.
Ha!
So what? Who knows what will happen in the next two years or what any of them will come up with as solutions?
No kidding, Sarah’s army will have no impact on the primaries at all. Go Mitch Whoever!
The more they want someone else like McCain, the better she looks.
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas!
the people will decide, not the rnc
Mitch Daniels already publicly agreed to concede all social issues to the Democrats. The Republican Party will never nominate him.
Can you spell bland? B - L- A- N- D!!!
Get a little excitement here. How about John Thune???
Yeah, no kidding.
Hey Mitch, if you don’t “ask” if we’ll vote for you, we won’t “tell” you NO!
Mitch and the rest of his liberaltarian RINO friends can get on the back of the bus.
“How about John Thune???”
Just another pretty-boy corporatist empty suit. Voted for cloture on the food bill, then voted against it, then gave his consent to its unanimous passage. Mitt Romney may have more character than John Thune. LOL.
Plus, he doesn’t bring much to the table electoral vote wise. South Dakota is worth what, maybe 3 electoral votes?
I’m surprised at Hayes.
Isn’t Mitch Daniels the fellow who wanted the social agenda (aka virtuous moral principles) put on the back burner?
I agree if Demint does not jump in Pence is my guy also. Although if Palin wins the nomination I will vote for her.
“Krauthammer has gone over to the RINO side.”
I know, shades of Peggy Noonan. Whats up with that?
Daniels, isnt he the guy that told all us social conservatives to shut up and sit this one out... Dont think so Mitch your dog meat...
I’ll second that!
