It is amazing how many expensive SUVs are used by the Government around here in the DC area yet up in the northern tier bases certain units that really need a basic four wheel drive vehicle are not authorized to have one.

Why does any congress critter have a government provided vehicle? Damned elitists...

Because it helps to project an image of black pride and success (however illegitimate) in such a way that we too should be proud?...

Don’t you feel proud that some of our most beloved congressmen and women ride around in such cool comfort? Don’t you admire how cool and important they must be and how good they look?

Don’t be jealous of their success, though. Rather, let’s all be proud together, as a community, that we are being represented in this way. Let’s not interfere in their affairs as they strive to make the world a better place for us all...

For the better they look the better we should feel about them and ourselves when we vote for them again and again.
