SSI (Sensitive Security Information) is information that is “published” by various federal agencies.

The guy didn’t disclose any of the specific SSI data that he was furnished with by the TSA.

He simply walked around the airport with his video camera showing what he thought were alledged security breaches....

"...we were pulled out of line and had a pretty embarrassing body search done in front of a few hundred people! (The agents... behaved very professionally the whole time.)"

Pardon my asking, but how in God's name do you even PUT the word "professionally" in a sentence describing scumbags who have subjected you to a full-body search "in front of a few hundred people???"

Is this anything like the Stockholm Syndrome, where victims bond with their abusers???

This is the way sheep respond.

"... the “channels” hire experts to do their vulnerability analyses and keep them secret, because you or anyone else don’t know what the terrorists know or what they can figure out or what little detail is exploitable. You and I don’t get to read them."

Oh, OK, right; I feel so much safer now.

Honestly I am not flying anytime soon until this bullshit is resolved. Yes, it makes long distance travel a bit of a pain, but in the end it is worth taking a stand.

The sheriff also revoked his concealed carry permit.

This is especially outrageous with the news of the *trusted traveler* fiasco involving Mexicans.

I wonder how many Americans can get that kind of clearance? Is it available to US as well as them?

I have a trip in August, from Georgia to New York.

I'll drive, thank you so VERY much.

I think it’s wrong to publicize a systematic analysis of security flaws of a sensitive place. Even if his analysis is wrong, do we want insiders to reveal vulnerabilities to YouTube audiences? With military systems and some locations, revealing exploitable vulnerabilities is a no-no. Usually Top Secret or more. If he had real concerns, there are ways to address them without showing people how best to have a Sudden Jihad Moment, or even how best to steal luggage or smuggle cash or securities.

You do have a damned good point.

I’d lay money on the fact that the terrorists already know all our airport security flaws,.....

from their buddies who got jobs that take them into restricted areas, like maintenance, baggage handlers, and (of course) TSA agents.

Anyone traveling through an airport can figure out what he verified with little or no effort.

My daughter’s friend got on board a plane with a razor in her purse

Which prompted my other daughter to remind us that when she came back from a out of state trip, she came through security with about 20 (free) disposable razors someone had given her.

But nail clippers aren’t allowed. They could be weapons, you know.

I wish I had some answers for you, but this kind of mind boggling stupidity just leaves you groping for some response, knowing that anything rational will be totally lost on those who need to hear it most.

At my work we get certificates and Kudos candy bars for telling the higher ups about something that concerns us.

Keep resting on your tagline.

Someday, all this will be over for good. The liberals who are bent on destroying our country will get the hell they’re trying to make for us.

“How do you know what intel the terrorists have?”

9/11

The Air France plane that came down mid Atlantic less than 1 week after there was a bomb threat on that very flight.. Official story, those dumb pilots flew through a massive thunderstorm and the plane just fell apart?

The UPS cargo plane that blew up shortly after take off in Dubai a few months ago. Then less than a week later bombs were found in cargo mailed from Yemen. Official story: No bomb on the plane, must be those dumb pilots again. But no more printers can be shipped!

How about the Pan Am flight? The authorities in that case did blame the bomb and even convicted a terrorist. Then of course they released him because he was just about to die from cancer and it would be so nice of the authorities if the the poor little terrorist could die (so s00n) at home. That was 2 years ago and the rat bastard is still living happily in Libya...

Those terrorists are so stupid and our authorities are so smart. I feel so safe with TSA on the job.

The pilot in question was sick of being searched for razor blades and toothpaste while being authorized to carry a gun!? Not to mention having a crash axe in the cockpit. Not to mention being able to crash the plane with his bare hands any time he felt like it. Not to mention the lack of screening of cargo, or ground personnel??

Airport security is all window dressing for the sheeple. It’s a bad joke. This man is doing us all a favor.

OMG a blind man could plan an attack on a plane and get through our security.
Do you not possibly think that a terrorist, any terrorist, worth his salt can't recon an airport and find a way to commit an act if they wanted to?
I am sorry but nothing at an airport is so classified that makes it impossible to find out intel and plan accordingly.

“I think it’s wrong to publicize a systematic analysis of security flaws of a sensitive place.”

Why? As far as I can see, every flaw he “exposed” is in a publicly accessible area. I saw similar things at the local airport when I flew to Colorado this past April.

I don’t believe that the pilot did anything to educate terrorists, however, he did educate the general public. Now the general public can know the actual security risks involved in flying as opposed to the ones the government wants you to be aware of.

It’s funny that some here are OK with the government lying and covering up flaws, just as long as the terrorists don’t know them either. Do we really believe terrorists get their airport security intel from youtube?

You think it’s wrong to publicize a systematic analysis of security flaws of a sensitive place.....I think it’s wrong to be aware of security flaws and DO NOTHING ABOUT THEM. The fact that they exist doesn’t upset you? Only that they are on youtube? What kind of flawed thinking is that?
