Barney Frank is unpredictable.
So, if you're a reporter from a conservative news outlet and you are trying to corner the congressman about the horrors of the barracks shower room in the post 'Don't Ask Don't Tell' environment, you better be prepared for a kinda-crazy but-totally-logical tirade.

This apparently is now the next incrementalism of the homosexual agenda.
Forcing normal people to shower with open homosexuals. Now you won’t be tolerant or accepting if you don’t.
Homosexuality needs to be criminalized again. Along with adultery. This whole country is obsessed with their sex organs. It’s hardly prudish, it’s overwhelmingly over-sexed.

Well, he was asked a direct question about it.
The underlying issue seems a bit silly to me: from time to time we rent a hot tub (at Ten Thousand Waves, in Santa Fe), which involves sharing a locker room and shower area with sometimes obviously gay men, and we sometimes use the clothing-optional mixed-sex spa area. As a 64 year old man who grew up in a blue collar neighborhood on the South Side of Chicago, like of lot of the changes I’ve lived to see this one is a bit surprising, but I can’t say I find it disturbing, let alone threatening.
The interviewer was right to ask the logical question: “Why not have separate showers just as for men and women?” - my guess is that, yes, it will come to that.
And that people will eventually wonder what all *that* fuss was about, too.
But then, I’m the kind of person who could care less if the operator of a security scanner can see through my clothes.
I can’t believe that naked body #234,512 is going to be much of a thrill - and if the operator *is* such a hard-core perv that it is... well, that’s probably *exactly* the man or woman you want for the job - at least they will still be bothering to pay attention!
All of which, I suppose, just means that either I “just do not get it”, or that there is really nothing here to “get”.

Homosexuals are treated exactly like everyone else and cry about it.
No one wants someone who is sexually attracted to their sex to watch them while they are naked. There is no difference between a homosexual man showering with a hetro man and a hetro man showering with a woman.
To prove my point, lesbian women don’t want to shower with hetro men. Why is that? And ugly women don’t want to shower with hetro men. Why is that?
And the argument that “what you don’t know won’t hurt you”, is the same as saying its OK to peek in on the girls in the locker room, just as long as they don’t know.
If anyone here knows what Barney Frank has in his mouth when he speaks, please don't let me know!

Me. I am sick of hearing about all this crap. At the risk of sounding politcally incorrect, I don't care even a little bit. Gay rights issues are a non issue to me. I don't care who does who. Barney is an idiot. Not because he is gay. He is an idiot.
