I’m usually pretty tough on criminals, but thirty years is way over the top IMO.

Im usually pretty tough on criminals, but thirty years is way over the top IMO. Rape is one thing. Abusing your power as an agent of the state over a ward of the state to commit rape is worthy of a life sentence.

Any punishment for a crime done under color of government authority should be doubled at a minimum. I really wouldn't have had a problem with this scumbag getting a public execution as a warning to the rest of law enforcement of what will happen to them when they break the law.
