UK: 'Christmas is evil': Muslim group launches poster campaign against festive period
The Daiily Mail (UK) ^ | December 22, 2010

Fanatics from a banned Islamic hate group have launched a nationwide poster campaign denouncing Christmas as evil.

Organisers plan to put up thousands of placards around the UK claiming the season of goodwill is responsible for rape, teenage pregnancies, abortion, promiscuity, crime and paedophilia.

They hope the campaign will help 'destroy Christmas' in this country and lead to Britons converting to Islam instead.

Labour MP and anti racist campaigner Jim Fitzpatrick branded the posters 'extremely offensive' and demanded they were immediately ripped down.

The placards, which have already appeared in parts of London, feature an apparently festive scene with an image of the Star of Bethlehem over a Christmas tree.

But under a banner announcing 'the evils of Christmas' it features a message mocking the song the 12 Days of Christmas.

It reads: 'On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me an STD (sexually transmitted disease).

'On the second day debt, on the third rape, the fourth teenage pregnancies and then there was abortion.'

According to the posters, Christmas is also to responsible for paganism, domestic violence, homelessness, vandalism, alcohol and drugs.

Another offence of Christmas, it proclaims, is 'claiming God has a son'

No, by all means leave them up. Apparently some people need a kick in the face to realize just how radical, irrational and offensive some of the Muslim inhabitants of their country really are. The UK, like Canada, may have become a largely post-Christian nation, but messing with Christmas and the good feelings it engenders is a great way to enrage a lot of people.

How in the name of mecca can a muslim be offended by Christmas? It celebrates the birth of one of their (minor) prophets.

There was a Muslim “scholar” on TV once who mocked Christianity by asking, “why would God need a son?” To which I answered, He didn’t need Him, WE DID!

The voice of reason.
We can only prepare for what is coming.

I've got my vote and I've got my ammunition, but somehow I don't believe that will be enough.  As long as we've got politicians who will cravenly sell out our British Friends as well as us here in America, we've got a cancer that won't go away quietly or easily.

I understand that in Dearborn, Michigan and some other American cities there are already loudspeakers on mosques that loudly broadcast their 'call to prayer', and every day there are new outrages of spineless dhimmitude exhibited by elected officials.

Just as "Socialism arrives by bicycle", so also islam "arrives by a slow camel", with endless and stealthy minute corruptions of a host country until the underpinnings of a society are gone and into their place....comes islam.

We may already be too late to stop this, as I do not see the widespread outrage against this that will be necssary to stop it.

Thank you so much for sharing that story about the Jensens and that night of Christmas kindness. I like to think that all across the land on Christmas someone, somewhere, was also sharing what they had even if it wasn’t that much.

For a moment I thought of “Good King Wenceslaus” taking food and fuel to a poor man and how the saintly man’s footsteps heated the very ground beneath his feet.

Then there was an episode of “Wanted Dead or Alive” where Josh Randall and an old man playing Santa try to bring Christmas to a poor family. The father needs a rifle to protect his sheep but the night ends in disappointment as the kids know this Santa didn’t really come down the chimney and his gifts are but token things.

But next morning everyone awakes to the sound of gunshots as the father picks off one predator after another with his brand new Winchester! Where did it come from!!? Then the old man looks into the now cold fireplace and picks up.. a sleigh bell from the ashes. He rings it as the others look on in amazement......

Merry Christmas!

I find this particualrly instructive of muslim mindsets. What athiests, leftists, etc., don’t understand is that SECULARISM AND CHRISTIANITY ARE SEEN IN THE SAME LIGHT BY JIHADISTS. Christianity made secularism possible in Christ’s injunction to ‘give unto God what is God’s and unto Ceasar what is Ceasar’s’...Making seperation of church and state possible-Something that is wholly alien to the muslim mind.

Somehow I think a “Mohammed was a pedophile” posters showing him leering at a 6 year old might be a proper response.

Tattooed on Abu Rumaysah’s back and front in indelible ink.

“How in the name of mecca can a muslim be offended by Christmas? It celebrates the birth of one of their (minor) prophets.”

They’re not upset about the Jesus part itself (note these sorts of posters don’t ever insult Jesus as an individual), but they’re attacking the concept of Jesus as a Trinitarian part of God. The holiday of Christmas is about the birth of a Savior, not of “a guy who was good and preached some stuff”. Ergo, they’re upset at what they see as a holiday for the birth of a “new god”.

If Muslims were to produce any materials actually insulting Jesus directly, I’m pretty sure they’d get hit with a barrage of “fatwa” judgements awfully quick, probably marked as apostates.

Christmas represents the exact opposite of Islam: faith, hope, joy, peace, and love. I can see why radical Muslims think Christmas is evil.

“Christmas represents the exact opposite of Islam: faith, hope, joy, peace, and love. I can see why radical Muslims think Christmas is evil.”

Can we move beyond goofy cliches in addressing this serious issue? Obviously, _Muslims_ don’t think their religion is evil, and they would probably claim that “faith, hope, joy, peace, and love” are part of their religion. And then there’d be some urinating contest about “no, _mine_ has it!”

Seriously, there are a dozen angles to attack this issue on, in terms of failed assimilation leading to an outright attack on the hosting culture, in terms of demanding respect while giving none, etc, but instead you dive right into some “The Eternal Mooslim” conspiracy where there’ll all dedicated to worldwide evil, instead of fallible fellow human beings making stupid decisions because they’ve been exposed to stupid ideas and not taught any better.
