But, hey- why would GOP Senators want to listen to an important official of the Reagan administration who knows what he's talking about... (/s)

They'd rather bow down to an incompetent POTUS who smears them as "hostages takers"...

The Ruskies are laughing at the stupidity of the “leadership” or lack of leadership, of this country. We’re skrewed.

I’ll take Richard Perle’s analysis over Brent Snowcroft’s on any day of the week.

The Obama administration essentially has handed Russia a veto over our missile defense program

I can’t believe any American would favor this treaty.

That it may be but it won’t stop the GOP Senate from tripping over themselve to vote for it.

The GOP is over as a viable option.

Self assured destruction is what Obama brings to our country.

Plank by plank, day by day, issue by issue... that bastard continues to destroy or country.

God may someday forgive him, I never will.

I heard Krauthammer yesterday say that all we had to do was “improve” our missile defense and the treaty was voided.

This seems rather silly, that would be the first thing we should do- after Obama is gone.

Why the hell are we entering a treaty on nuclear arms with a nation that simply cannot do anything more to build up their side of the equation and has no intention of giving up what they have left?

And that is no threat to attack us in any case?

But of course they’ll be only too happy to take back control of eastern Europe and here is yet another step up that stairway.

Palin thinks a lot like Reagan:

“At the height of the Cold War, President Reagan pursued missile defense while also pursuing verifiable arms control with the then-Soviet Union. That position was right in the 1980’s, and it is still right today.

We cannot and must not give up the right to missile defense to protect our population – whether the missiles that threaten us come from Russia, Iran, China, North Korea, or anywhere else. I fought the Obama administration’s plans to cut funds for missile defense in Alaska while I was Governor, and I will continue to speak out for missile defenses that will protect our people and our allies.”
