Sillllly thing that most in the west do not comprehend is whatever happens to Israel happens to US.
You can only partially appease Islam by the removal of Israel. Once Israel is removed, they will feel empowered, then they will want to remove the big satan.
That means the west will be under immediate attack.
Too bad they have enough nuclears to vaporize half the planet.
They will use them too, mistake this fact not.
There is no peace process. The incentives are backward. Its all based on paying the arabs not to commit barbarities. They do something awful. You pay them to stop. They do something else, and you pay them again.
Their whole economy is based on being paid to stop what they are doing. If they ever really stop, they are just a backwater postage stamp of a territory with no economy whatever. They will never stop, because the moment they do is the moment they vanish into irrelevance. The people who run this place are not interested in being mayors of crappy cities; they are there to wage war and nothing more.
So reverse the wiring. Refuse to negotiate them. Punish attacks by annexing land permanently. At the moment their violence costs them nothing, in fact it is the source of their income. To reverse that, you have to make it cost and you do that by seizing land in answer to every attack.
In any case, there is no peace process. War is coming. Get ready for it. Nothing you do will prevent it or even delay it by much. They are getting ready and you had better be ready too. Because the next one will probably the worst one yet, and its probably going to happen before Obama leaves office.
