Exclusive: The Dept. of Homeland Security Uncovered a Plot to Attack Hotels and Restaurants Over a Single Weekend

In this exclusive story, CBS News chief investigative correspondent Armen Keteyian reports the latest terror attack to America involves the possible use of poisons - simultaneous attacks targeting hotels and restaurants at many locations over a single weekend.

A key Intelligence source has confirmed the threat as "credible." Department of Homeland Security officials, along with members of the Department of Agriculture and the FDA, have briefed a small group of corporate security officers from the hotel and restaurant industries about it.

"We operate under the premise that individuals prepared to carry out terrorist acts are in this country," said Dec. of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano on Dec. 6, 2010.

Salad Bars and Buffets only in the article as targets? Doesn't this article beg the question of who is preparing the food in the kitchen? A lone individual or terrorist could slip the poison into the Salad Bars and Buffets. What about the kitchen help? Are we to assume there are no possible terrorists in the kitchen preparing food? How do they know this?

Its odd, to be sure. Lots of “coincidences” with this lot of dems. Still; my assumption holds the same, they will not take the fight to our enemy head on; but instead punish the innocent. They (Dem’s) have no clue how to operate a free country; hence they turn to socialism and marxism as a vehicle to “protect” the citizenry. Only problem is, their so blinded, they can’t see that we will defend ourselves against them; our new enemy.

Vegas, yes. But also any buffet, anywhere. Golden Corral, Luby’s (southern chain), etc. They could also infiltrate the production end.....Tyson and Perdue chickens, Ore-Ida potatoes, McDonald’s burgers, packaged salads.....the list goes on. A metropolitan water supply, or even bottled water would be fairly easy to tamper with. Really frightening scenarios to consider.

Woman Fears Ex-Boyfriend Poisoned Her

Plainfield, Ind. - Police and an unidentified task force are investigating a Plainfield woman’s claims that her ex-boyfriend possibly poisoned her with a toxic substance, such as ricin or anthrax.

When she met with investigators this week, Schmitt said she was told the case would be referred to a terrorism task force.

6News is not identifying the man involved because no charges have been filed, but he is the subject of an investigation.
Schmitt said the man works as a security guard for a private company and that she believes he is originally from the Middle East......

There are no knowledgeable leaders in D.C. apparently. Once America has dead on the ground again from another attack, I think I will just take out the popcorn and watch the idiots fall all over themselves trying to explain or apologize to the terrorists, while they (Congress) will still fail to take out the trash. Why would anyone want to take out the trash, when if one did take out the trash, the other trash (working with the enemy) would be breathing down your neck to take you, the trash taker outer, out. Thank God, the people in Congress are working for us, right? I think I should add a sarcasm tag to the last two sentences. Sorry for the rant Velveeta.
