After basically evading reporters all day, the Massachusetts Republican recently announced that he will support the arms reduction treaty. Brown told reporters following a closed-session intelligence briefing that he had given the issue due diligence and hoped see the treaty ratified. I believe its something thats important for our country, and I believe its a good move forward to deal with our national security issues, he said.
A cloture vote is expected on Tuesday.

Why are you surprised? He voted Dem in Mass and will continue on that path. He sure did get a lotta money and assistance from people not looking deeply into his voting record prior to his anointment.

Scott Brown is probably as good as we can expect in Massachusetts (he voted against DREAM Act closure) but if he thinks he is ever getting any support from conservatives again ....

It's worse than that, he's a run of the mill politician trying to get re-elected.
To do what you ask?
To get re-elected once again.

Are we really surprised? What’s his ACU rating?
Kirk’s going to be doing the same thing. His ACU is like 50%. So FReepers shouldn’t freak out that he’s with us only half the time.
We need to win in conservative states if we want real, true conservative Senators. Even then we can’t get everything we want look at Coburn and DeMint.
We need to take the long view, hold Congress for a generation or better. America didn’t get messed up over night.

Sure will be fun sending money to his opponent.
‘course, it will be the first time I’ve ever made a campaign contribution to a Democrat; but I like the comfort of dealing with an enemy I know.

Brown told reporters following a closed-session intelligence briefing that he had given the issue due diligence and hoped see the treaty ratified. I wonder if the "intelligence briefing" was enhanced the same way the report premising the drilling moratorium and the DADT study were?
I would suggest that MORE due diligence should be the order of the day. These leftists are liars plain and simple. It should be obvious by now in all but exceptional cases that if the leftists want it that IT is bad for America.
