Saturday night, December 18, 2010, Jim floated the idea of forming a political action committe to organize an effort to defeat the RINOs in the upcoming 2012 and 2014 Congressional elections.
"Yup, I do believe its time. We need to organize an anti-RINO PAC and get it going in all 57 states to support and elect True God and Country Conservatives. We can do it!! FReeperPAC is born!"

Many FReepers expressed interest in helping with the PAC, posted research/resources, made relevant suggestions, offered advice, etc. It's time to move that effort to its own thread.
Please continue you contributons here. If you posted important information to the other thread, please consider re-posting it here. You will not automatically be added to the FReeper PAC ping list. You must request to be added if you want to receive pings to important updates.

your written idea here, appears to have teeth....
If in the coming month thousands and thousands of constitutional conservatives UNITED locally, not at a tea party rally or meeting, but at their local GOP committee meeting expressing a desire to become a precinct committeeman a SHOCK WAVE would be sent through the political world.
SHOCK WAVE ? I'll agree the Republican Party needs a good Shock Wave.
Does anyone have a point of view on this point? Is this a means to an end of RINOs?
I noticed you pinged the list, humblegunner, or I would be elsewhere. Do we care about what to do or not? Maybe I’m too impatient...cause I am...I do want the RINOs gone.
How many people ever show up at Town Halls?
Probably less than 0.1 percent of voters.
I'm just doing due diligence as listmaker, sharing the updated version.
It's posted for all to use, note it's in "ping list" format.
Do we care about what to do or not?
Damn straight we do. It's a work in progress.
Maybe Im too impatient
Me too. But I'm just the guy making the list.
LOL
Hey Sync.
No offense intended toward you humblegunner, my apology.
Hiya HC
I don’t spend a lot of time here, so forgive my ignorance. How many people are on this discussion? Can we poll them? How many of you are, already, precinct committeemen in the Republican Party?
What states do each of you reside in?
I’m in Arizona. It’s EASY to become a precinct committeeman there — over 50 per cent of the slots are vacant.
Let’s do the math. Fewer than half of the voting membership slots of the Republican Party in AZ are filled. They are split about 50-50 between moderates and conservatives. So, we’ve got a half-strength, ideologically split party. Now, imagine all the conservatives in the various grass roots organizations that have formed (tea parties, 9.12 groups, Freepers, WeSurroundThem folks, etc.) UNITE inside the Party. NOW! Together. And sign up to fill all those empty slots. Now, again, do the math. That 50-50 split goes to 75-25 in favor of the conservatives. And, instead of going into the 2012 election cycle with an ideologically-split, half strength party, we go into it with a very strong conservative majority inside a full-strength party.
Go here and spend 13 minutes watching the videos:

Go here and read my recent comment at Redstate.com and follow the links:
The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy is just good, old-fashioned, basic participation in the tradional American two-party system as some of learned in Civics 101. Which the government schools don’t teach any more — by design of the progressives who took over school boards while conservative Americans were enjoying the golf course or whatever.
We have the numbers — there’s about 200,000 vacant Republican Party precinct committeeman slots nationwide. Conservatives numbered in the millions around the country at the 9.12.2009 rallies. If just ten per cent of them would “pivot” out of tea party mode and get into “political party” mode, and actually get involved in party politics, we conservatives could TAKE OVER the Republican Party. No more complaining about “the Republican Party” — conservatives would BE the Republican Party.
So, who’s already with me?
Who will join me?
I am not going to allow my children to live under socialism. I need your help. NOW!
Thank you.

And look at the difference it made.
Can we poll them?
I do not know if this is possible. But it is on the thread now, and maybe someone else would know.
How many of you are, already, precinct committeemen in the Republican Party?
Speaking for myself only, I am not. Time has not been my ally. I am willing though.
What states do each of you reside in?
That may be a question which would be posed to each individual as this develops.
I believe you have made some points to consider and though I am extremely busy today and the next few days I should be able to devote more time after Christmas. I do want to see the people regain control of our people who represent us. You have put forth an opinion which deserves due consideration, and for that I Thank You.
I just saw this on the state board. Please add me to the ping list. I will do what I can. As long as it took for the response box to come up, has the o started to disrupt our use of the net?
Add me to the list too...Puleezze...;-)
screaminsunshine,
You said, “And look at the difference it made.”
What, pray tell, are you referring to? What is the “it?”
If you are referring to the hundreds of thousands of Americans who DID NOT get involved in the political process, you’re correct — that inaction did not make a difference.
If you are referring to the millions of Americans who thought they were “doing something political” by going to a Tea Party rally, and that’s all they did, you’re right, that did not make a difference.
If you’re referring to those who come to political “activism” boards like this and make comments, and nothing more, you’re right, that did not make a difference.
Please tell us what YOU have done to make a difference.
Please tell us if you have a better strategy, and what it is.
Here are some questions that you and other “keyboard activists” might want to ask yourself:
Do you know the name of your precinct?
Its geographical boundaries?
The number of registered Republicans, Democrats and other voters in it?
Do you know any other conservative Republicans in your precinct?
Do you know how many Republican precinct committeemen exist in your precinct?
Do you know where your local Republican committee meets? And when?
Have you ever gone door-to-door in your precinct with a voter registration walking sheet to help get out the vote in a primary election?
Have you ever been to a meeting of your local Republican Party committee?
Have you ever spoken to either of your two state representatives or your state senator?
Please tell us what you have done to make a difference.
For example, other than preaching to the conservative choir, can you tell us, for example, whether you’ve recruited any Americans to actually get involved in party politics as precinct committeemen?
Can you tell us, for example, how many conservatives you’ve signed up as new Republican Party voters?
Can you tell us whether you are a precinct committeeman?
If you have a better strategy, I’m all ears.
And, if the “it” you referring to was coming to a discussion and not offering any constructive comments about what we ought to DO to change things, I agree, that does not make a difference.
So, do you have a better strategy? If so, could you please tell us what it is, how you think we should implement it, how it’s worked in the past, etc.?
Doing something for liberty,
Cold Warrior

P.S. I have done all of the above. If just ten per cent of the “sunshine patriots” who spend all their time preaching online to the conservative choir would, instead, actually get involved in Party politics as precinct committeemen, as I advocate (and have done), we would, together, take over the Republican Party and then be in a position to actually elect better people in the all-important, traditionally-very-low-turnout primary elections, who would then go on to win in the general election.
I can’t guarantee that The Neighborhood Precinct Committeeman Strategy will cause us to save our country as we once knew it, but I can guarantee this: if we DON’T get involved in Party politics as never before, we WILL lose our country as we once knew it.
So, screaminsunshine, I await your responses.
Taking a break for Christmas.
See y’all next week.
Bookmarking to pick up again after Christmas.
I went to the first big Tea Party protest at Cathy ‘the commie’ Castors town hall in Tampa and took it to em. We were on National News and got the ball rolling.
I personally got 7 votes to swith to Republican from Crat also. I had some yard signs and donated some money too. Also wrote some letters to the papers and my Congresscommies. That was all I could do for now because of work.

Count me in. Add me to this ping list, please. Up to this point, I have simply supported individual candidates (such as Marco Rubio, JD Hayworth), but it’d be great to go RINO hunting.
Here in Virginia, we have a Democrap (Jim Webb) to dump, but that’s another story — and Warner needs to go, as well.
So much work, so little time.
Can I get added to the Freeperpac ping list?
Thank you.
