FReeper PAC discussion thread
Free Republic ^ | 12/18/2010 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 12/19/2010 7:55:43 PM PST by BuckeyeTexan

Saturday night, December 18, 2010, Jim floated the idea of forming a political action committe to organize an effort to defeat the RINOs in the upcoming 2012 and 2014 Congressional elections.

"Yup, I do believe it’s time. We need to organize an anti-RINO PAC and get it going in all 57 states to support and elect True God and Country Conservatives™. We can do it!! FReeperPAC is born!"

472 posted on Saturday, December 18, 2010 6:46:47 PM by Jim Robinson (Rebellion is brewing!! Nuke the corrupt commie bastards to HELL!!)

Many FReepers expressed interest in helping with the PAC, posted research/resources, made relevant suggestions, offered advice, etc. It's time to move that effort to its own thread.

Please continue you contributons here. If you posted important information to the other thread, please consider re-posting it here. You will not automatically be added to the FReeper PAC ping list. You must request to be added if you want to receive pings to important updates.

I'll 'ditto' that... we're going to be attacked no matter what we do, it is a never ending battle... and it goes on all the time, as there are at minimum two meetings per month that we SHOULD NEVER MISS - your district, and your county meetings. If you miss those - you've ceded the battleground to RINO's - all too very often.

What FReepers should BEST DO - is to be in the real battleground - that of their state GOP, at the local and state level, where they can be most effective at being a RINO-KILLER. THAT is the very best place to oppose the RINO's trying to sneak into higher office - kill 'em before they can get there!

"I'm worried about the much more restrictive control that the FEC {FCC and the IRS..."

Sam, a Federal judge already told them they (FCC) couldn't do what they wanted to do, so this thing is going nowhere - it will be opposed all the way to the Supreme Court, and by additional legislation.

Yeah, I know - it's another battle, but this one is still in progress, and it sure isn't lost yet... and I think Jim is right - we need a meaner, leaner, more effective PAC than any of the current ones that don't seem to combat the RINO's like they should... and WE CAN DO JUST THAT.

"I’m all for fighting, but who do you fight with? Our (so called) team caves at every turn."

Our most esteemed DoughtyOne... we have to stop trying to fight with 'our team' in D.C. Sadly, we can't hit 'em nearly hard enough. No matter how much we write, call, or try to defeat them while they sit in Congress - they're nearly impervious to all that we currently do.

BUT - if we work from the bottom UP, we can begin to run them out of office with better candidates - and prior to that, a much louder voice coming from within the states!

Sadly, we have too long ignored who sits at the top of our County and State party structure. Hell - 90 percent of FReepers have never attended a singly one of that most-populous part of this nation's 'conservative party' - much less tried to replace them with 'one of our own.'

I think we (FREEPERS) can do that - and with enough vigor to swivel and snap the heads of the national structure in such a way that they can no longer afford to ignore us.

But - we can't do it half heartedly - we have to put together an assault with one-hundred percent hard-core conservatism that refuses to even contemplate giving an inch to placate, or accomodate 'moderates' in the party.

We have to find, educate, then promote replacements for every RINO in sight - from the most populous bottom structure of the party FIRST. That is how you scare the hell out of the RINO's at the top, and make them START to listen.

Absolutely agree.

I think that alone best explains how we got where we are today.

We were out doing "other" and not wasting time in politics.

Now we're outraged that the scum has grown solid where we never bothered to go.

Very astute! That ol' Rino Petie has been pulling the puppet strings for a looooong time. He needs to be shown the back door - and boooed out of the conservative political arena every time he rears his muddled head.

He has a LOT of money - but, when we own the state party again - we can keep him off the calendar. Yeah, he can go back another RINO - but we can keep that one off our calendar too, and by that time, promote a far better candidate.

"I think that alone best explains how we got where we are today."

Sadly you are most correct. Our forefathers knew, and taught, that we should concentrate on our local districts - and the top would be taken care of. We just have ignored their teachings - and allowed TV and whatever else to distract us from doing what most needs to be done - take care of things a few blocks from where we live!

There's quite a bit more to that story though - the damage caused by 'progressive republicans' at the beginning of the 1900's hobbled the power of the people to rule from the bottom up. But, we can push for laws that were eliminated to be reinstated. Which should be one of the main focuses of our FREEPac. More on that in a later post - I've GOT to get off for a bit...

Rank orders don't come out again until March, I think.

I'm just a list-maker.

Don't feel bad.

I have to agree to three legal disclaimers and a dose of profanity removal before each post.

Awesome user-specific system we got here. ;-)

* "I've lived, Sir, a long time, and the longer I live, the more convincing Proofs I see of this Truth — That God governs in the Affairs of Men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without his Notice, is it probable that an Empire can rise without his Aid? We have been assured, Sir, in the Sacred Writings, that except the Lord build the House they labor in vain who build it. I firmly believe this, — and I also believe that without his concurring Aid, we shall succeed in this political Building no better than the Builders of Babel: We shall be divided by our little partial local interests; our Projects will be confounded, and we ourselves shall become a Reproach and Bye word down to future Ages."

Please see my latest comment at Redstate.com where I explain for the umpteenth time that if we want to take back our government, we have to take over one of the two major political parties and that the Republican Party is there for the taking if conservatives, in droves, would invade its local committees and become precinct committeemen. The reason the Party is there for the taking is because, on average, in every locale, over half of the precinct committeemen slots are vacant. PCs, and only PCs, elect the leadership and are in the best position to make sure the BEST constitutional conservatives get the most votes in the all-important, traditionally-very-low-turnout primary elections.

Folks, this is THE WAY.

I cannot comment on this....that in red thingy is up again. Considering what you have in red (I suppose) I should be happy....WOOHOO!! If I was receiving what you have to go past, I would never feel comfortable posting anything. Mine goes away if I sometimes do it right.... ; ) I would think yours never does...how would one sign off on three legal disclaimers and a dose of profanity removal before each post?
