Saturday night, December 18, 2010, Jim floated the idea of forming a political action committe to organize an effort to defeat the RINOs in the upcoming 2012 and 2014 Congressional elections.
"Yup, I do believe it’s time. We need to organize an anti-RINO PAC and get it going in all 57 states to support and elect True God and Country Conservatives™. We can do it!! FReeperPAC is born!"

Many FReepers expressed interest in helping with the PAC, posted research/resources, made relevant suggestions, offered advice, etc. It's time to move that effort to its own thread.

It’s not in the form of a mission statement, but my primary purpose of a FReeper controlled PAC would be to form an organization to rid the GOP of RINOs and to pick off as many godless America-hating progressives of either party as we possibly can.
This would NOT be a “big tent” GOP PAC and it’s purpose would NOT be to try to get necessarily anyone with a big “R” elected. It would be a PAC of hard as nails, no nonsense, unabashed God, Life and Liberty loving patriots with a goal of electing like-minded Liberty loving patriots to restore our Constitution and our beloved Republic with its limited government as established by our Founding Fathers!!
Securing the Blessings of Liberty for ourselves and our Posterity!!
Not only will it be damn the torpedoes but damn the abortionists, the homosexualists, the wacko environmentalists, the militant feminists, the unionists, the gun-grabbers, the corrupt bastards, the takers, the open borders lobby, the RINOS, the “compassionate conservatives,” the weak-kneed, half-liberal Libertarians, the godless liberals, the socialists, progressives, leftists, Marxists, communists, nazis, fascists, anarchists, racist race and poverty pimps, cowards, pacifists, traitors, etc., full steam ahead!!
As far as I’m concerned all of the above are haters of our God-given Liberty and traitors to our Constitution.
It would be an exclusive God and Country PAC.
In this fight for God, Family, Country, Life and Liberty, you are either with us or against us. There is no middle ground!

We need to make the Republican primary process brutal on RINOs. If this country is headed to socialism, let there be a stark difference between the parties and let the Democrats bring it in. There's no shame in losing on your principles on large matters IMO. But the current situation of moving the country to the left, where it happens fast with the Dems or slowly with a RINO based Republican party must stop. The primaries are where it will happen. A good place to start is to raise some money and talk to someone familiar with the process.

This sounds like we’re on the same page.
I forsee being able to promote this PAC to the regulars on my email list, who also wish to take back the country from these elitist goons.
With regard to our mission statement, social issues, obamacare repeal (goes without saying doesn’t it?) the definition of RINO, etc..
My opinion, “Life, Liberty, & the Pursuit of Happiness,” best answers the ‘social issue’ question. “Life” always takes precedence. We are conservatives and we believe and know that life starts at conception.
I’m awed by the progress and the ping list shows we have tremendous interest!
This is Christmas week and I see a lot of good questions have been raised. I suggest that more time and serious concentration can be better accomplished next week on these important matters. I know that a lot of knowledgeable members are busy this week, but please know that I am most willing to help whenever and however I possibly can.

It likely depends on which organizations are partnered with as to whether or not that would happen or just how much compromise would be needed. It seems doubtful to me that FR PAC would play with RINOs and there are other conservative PACs out there that are doing things it might be interested in joining.
Of course that’s just an idea I’m throwing out there for getting started. That will be the hardest part until FR PAC can find some donors with deep pockets, otherwise it’s tough to get things done without much money.

Yup. Life is our God-given right to our own lives and to our posterity their lives. Government cannot take our lives without due process or grant powers to others to take them. Liberty is our God-given freedoms, not only those listed in the Bill of Rights, but all of our unlimited freedoms granted by God. Our government was never intended to be the giver or controller of freedom, but the DEFENDER of freedom, ALL of our freedoms. Pursuit of Happiness is the American Dream. Examples, the rights (not guarantees) to acquire an education, establish a family, a home, a farm, a business, a vocation, to work and to enjoy the fruits of our own labor unhindered and free of government intrusion. Free men were intended to live free, be free, worship free, be responsible, self-sustaining and self-governed. Government was never intended to be our cradle to grave protector, our safety net or equalizer. We were all created equal by our Creator and endowed by Him with our UNALIENABLE rights! Government has waaay overstretched its leash and must be yanked back by its rightful owners, US! Government derives its just powers from the consent of the governed.

We need to think about a strategy for dealing effectively with the RINOs who lose their primaries and then launch campaigns as Independents. We cannot tolerate “Murkowski-ism.”
