GOP Must Destroy All Obama Legislation—Like Rome’s Damnatio Memoriae

What in the name of Zeus does the GOP think it’s going to achieve by bargaining with Barack Obama and his socialist posse? Instead of pretending we have much in common, why don’t the Republicans get a clue and listen to the results of the last election, and heed Conservatism—and allow liberals to keep listening to Prozac? It is time to use the ancient Roman act of Damnatio Memoriae, or public condemnation, to bury old Barack along with all his self-indulgent and imbecilic decisions. The following article explores this option.

I’ve actually been thinking of Damnatio Memoriae quite a bit lately. Most Leftists seem to be worshiped after their time is over, but I think Obama may be widely seen as a Benedict Arnold (my opinion) or as a complete buffoon who reflects badly on the American voter. Either way, history will not treat him kindly.

This is no idle threat, and easy enough to decode - she's waiting, even now, to pounce if this is screwed up, and kill America once and for all.

Canadians can be excused only once for forgetting this is not a Parliamentary democracy. The OLD Congress is still in power. The NEW Congress takes over on January 4. Until that moment only minor things can be done ~ like preserving the existing tax system and stopping another $1.2 trillion in irrational expenses from being wasted.

I'm sure the NEW Congress will get around to some of this other stuff in due course ~ which happens differently here than in Canada.

None of this will be done; the GOP is cowardly to the core. Just ask Orrin G. Hatch and Lindsey Graham to be sure.

Something to think about when we get a majority in the Senate to match the one we have in the House and a fool proof veto over-ride. Until than we are stuck like the days of the contract with America. There will be great action in the House and it will all die in the Senate.
