Sixty-five years ago this month, Gen. George S. Patton Jr., hero of World War II and an outspoken critic of the Soviets, was en route to a Sunday hunting trip, a day before permanently leaving Europe, when he was critically injured in a vehicle accident on a deserted two lane highway near Mannheim, Germany.
A large US army truck that Patton’s driver later said was waiting for them, suddenly — and without signaling — abruptly turned into his limousine’s path, causing a head-on crash. Even though Patton had an aide with him and the driver of the truck had one or two passengers in the cab, no one but Patton was hurt. He suffered a paralyzing broken neck.
Despite it being early on a no-work day, a horde of military personnel, including a brigadier general, quickly arrived at the scene. And although there were facilities in Mannheim, he was taken to a hospital 20 miles away where, when he arrived, the prognosis was bad. They expected him to die.
But the tough general, vowing to go home and tell “block-busting secrets,” rallied. And in a little over a week he was fit enough to be readied for a grueling trans-Atlantic flight home. On the eve of that flight, he had a sudden relapse. Blood embolisms choked his breathing. Within 24 hours he was dead.

This is the release in paperback of a book first published in 2008. I went through it then and compared to other books and to the doctor’s statement on Patton’s death. The surgeon was flown to Germany from the US and was on the same plane with Mrs. Patton. Reading his report, discounts these post-war speculations. One of the reasons for the “medical facilities 20 miles away” instead of in Mannheim, was that the facility was much better quality.
There has been speculation that it was a hit since the day that it happened. But the only evidence anyone has ever actually been able to produce is the obvious fact that Stalin had a motive to kill him. No actual evidence that he did.
Patton was murdered by our own U.S. crooked Government.
Patton is by far my favortite hidtorical figure. His early life is actually far more interesting than what he did during WW2.

I know she’s not American, but Queen Isabella knew how to free Spain of it’s Muslim problem. I’d like to add her to the list too..
Here is a political reality check.
1. The US public opinion OPPOSED entry into WWII until Pearl Harbor, led by conservative Republicans.
2. It is easy to oppose the Soviets in retrospect, but at the time they were our vital ally. We had won WWII together.
3. There is NO WAY the US public would have favored a continuation of WWII, turned against our ally the Soviets.
I have no opinion about Patton’s demise, but I generally am skeptical about conspiracies.
Far too many involved.
Muawiyah met Arthur's niece and knows Hamid Karzai. His uncle, a WWII Ranger, appeared in several wartime movie reels with Patton.
That's all you need for a huge conspiracy theory about something ~ I've already found several on the net ~ absolutely amazing.

Not only that, but on the day he was shot Lincoln thought about riding to Ford’s Theater in a Lincoln Continental.
And after he was shot, they buried Lincoln on the Continent!
And while Lee Harvey Oswald worked in a Warehouse, John Wilkes Booth may have at onetime gone to a Whore House.
He was assassinated by the Russians to keep from finishing the war. He was also a threat to FDR as a Presidential candidate, he may have changed our future.

OSS was duped by the NKVD in the rush to be allies against the Axis.
Gehlen was penetrated, and his bunch absorbed under Operation Paperclip enjoyed a special relationship with OSS and CIA for fifty years--such is the Agency's own admission.
Patton was loud about it. He was removed.
China fell; Korea presented as low-hanging fruit.
They could have waited until today when they have one of their own in the White House.

My dad was in Germany at the time and the rumors they got pertained to Patton’s murder being a German Werwolf operation.
