Rep. Darrell Issa is finally getting what he has long craved: subpoena power. From his new perch atop the committee responsible for oversight investigations, the California Republican will be able to demand any document he wishes and summon anybody to appear before him - no small thing for a man who recently referred to President Obama as "one of the most corrupt presidents in modern times."
Even so, there's one thing Issa says he won't subpoena: Barack Obama's birth certificate.
"Mine is not the committee that asks where the president was born," Issa said in an interview. "It doesn't ask what ministers that he went to think. All that stuff is a distraction. I'm not the overseer of the president."

It might be smart to publicly say such things, so as to not scare the rats at this time, but silently work toward such a goal when in the position of power.
Yes there are a hundred things to get Barry on. I don’t care how they snag him as long as they do it.
While this is true, if they can prove he is not a natural born citizen that would make every law he has signed as well as every Executive Order illegitimate and illegal - back to the drawing board on Obamacare, Porkulus, and a lot of other shenanigans they have pulled in the last 2 years.

If Congress has any jurisdiction at all, then it would probably be the Judiciary committee or the Armed Services committee. The house does not have oversight over the qualifications of the President. That would be the province of the Supreme Court.
I wish with all my heart we could get Barry on the BC. There is no way he is eligible or he would not have sealed his records. Not to mention the guy can’t even claim for sure which hospital he was born at. Its pathetic. Congress knows he is ineligible and they all knew in 2008. Nobody stood up and demanded his credentials then and they are not going to do it now. I was kind of counting on Julian Assange but looks like even he can’t find that pesky birth certificate.
What ‘minister’ is Issa referring to?? The only one that Obama went to was Wright, except he never questioned Obama’s place of birth that I recall.
