The term "troll" is indeed apt for N-S. I made the mistake of trying to engage him in a polite, dispassionate conversation concerning why he thought the South has been staunchly Conservative over the past several election cycles.
The response? Pure vitriol.
He was (and presumably still is) so anti-Southern that even an attempt at a reasonable dialog was an utter failure. I was naive to think that N-S was open to a reasonable discussion.
Yeah, I made that mistake a few times too. Any time he disagrees with something you said, even if you back it up with historical proof, he just calls it all fairytales. Sheesh. What a loser...
I made the same mistake.
I tried at first not knowing how much of an idiot he was to engage him in a conversation about the south and boy did I find out that was a mistake.
He never took the threads seriously , he always tried to wind people and it his bigoted hatred of the south was disturbing that he needs help.
NS has gone for the time being but I have no doubt that the idiot will be back as he seemed to live on FR
