Why would what I have said rise to the occasion for a zot? Has it come to the point that even a discussion about a discussion is now Verboten? I have said on every single post that FR is free to post whatever it wants and to ban whomever it wants. I have said that I do not support abortion or homosexuality. If FR has become so paranoid that anyone that encourages free speech is somehow seen as evil, what does that say? In answer to your question, I would not want people advocating either abortion or homosexuality in my home. On the other hand, I would not throw someone out of my house for wanting to discuss the matter with me. I have the right to throw anyone out that I want, but having the right to do something does not always make it right.

You made that point early on. Now you’ve just been arguing with Jim’s decision. And agitating. The sentiment is clearly against you and in support of Jim. Proceed at your own risk.

And would you feel the same way if multiple people came to your home, day after day, 365 days a year, including holidays and wanted to do this? I wouldn’t and for the years Jim’s been running this site, he doesn’t either. There’s a time to put a foot down and say “enough.”

I’m sure you see yourself as a tolerant and fair minded person. You repeat your support of free speech - and I ask - even for hostile sodomites who want to indoctrinate your children and teach them the virtues of fisting? How very open-minded of you.

“I have the right to throw anyone out that I want, but having the right to do something does not always make it right.”

You are speaking in code. Code for having a libertarian mindset that what two consenting adults do is not our business. Well guess what. It IS our business. (See tagline - I’ve had it up for months. It pisses off moral liberals.)

Sooner or later - the true inner feelings of liberals will come out. And here at Free Republic, we are in tune with certain words and ideas that liberals use. It might seem strange to find that many libs hide behind the Constitution as they huff and puff about freedom of speech, but actually, they are social and moral liberals.

And in case you don’t know - Jim has no use for them or their ideas of “free speech discussions”.

Oh? How about if people came into your house uninvited with the specific but unspoken intention of convincing other members of your family to embrace butt-piracy or abortion? Would you throw them out?

I would.

That you are a moron, of course.

No one is required to tolerate your nonsense, or anyone else's. To sit in Jim's virtual living room and lecture him on manners is not only rude, but presumpuous...two traits most definitely not conservative.

Or, to put it in terms you might be more familiar with...you are entitled to free speech. You are not entitled to an audience.
