If Barack Obama wins reelection in 2012, as is now more likely than not, historians will mark his comeback as beginning on December 6, the day of the Great Tax-Cut Deal of 2010.
Obama had a bad November. Admittedly shellacked in the midterm election, he fled the scene to Asia and various unsuccessful meetings, only to return to a sad-sack, lame-duck Congress with ghostly dozens of defeated Democrats wandering the halls.

Krauthammer claims the Rep could have “gotten everything they wanted” without compromising. he claims Obama would have NEVER DARED to allow rates to go up.
Oh really? and suppose he DID allow them to go up and cited as the reason the Republicans refusal to make even the smallest compromise to keep the rates where they are> he could have blamed it on their refusal to help the unemployed by extending unemployment compensation.
Let’s all remember this is the same guy who all but guarateed health care was DEAD when Scott Brown was elected in MA.
Charles? Is that you, Charles?
there's a difference between "smart" and "crooked" - and a difference of levels between straight 'crooked' and "Chicago crooked."
SHARK MEET JUMPER!
Is Krauthammer showing some Palin fear/hate?.

Elect Sarah Palin for President 2012
Re-Elect President Sarah Palin 2016
What has happened to him over the past month or two???? I get not liking Palin—I disagree but I get it. But this? He’s off his rocker.
Obama will get two years (Instead of being permanent, another political tool for the dems to play with) of the tax cut extension to hang over the heads of the American people, a one-sided arms treaty, and open a cornucopia of faggotry in the military. A good week if you are a politically savvy democrat and a beltway insider.
Kids - stay off drugs!
He's only 60, his problem in my opinion is he likes the Kool-Aid ...
“He will never lose his base. Where would they go?”
Answer: they won’t vote just as in the last election
I think Obama’s big-government track record will make him less appealing to voters in 2012 than candidates that will run against him.
Americans are getting too lazy, too expensive and too unskilled. That’s why there are no jobs and there won’t be in 6 months or 2 years.
Spending doesn’t make money, productivity makes money. There’s a (not so) subtle difference.
The tax deal isn’t going to get him reelected if the economy still sucks.
I think we all said that this Jerk Could never be elected in the First Place, would not Surprise me in the Least, cold hard Truth Hurts
