Rupbulicans are giving all they can to assist the democrats in driving the final nails in to our freedoms.

Sure doesn’t take big talkers long to cave, does it. Call them a name or say it’s a “new” low and they go into hiding. Guess they don’t want to be remembered as the ones who created a “new” low.

Second party, anyone? We only have one now.

Oh Noes! They would have to delay a vote 15 hours to hear what’s in the bill!

Why does DeMeint care what the WH thinks.

Asshats!

Our forefathers weep.

Is there not one out of 100 who will stop this train wreck?

One out of 535?

Sen. McCaskill was right—it is time for pitchforks.

This guy is a real a-hole who lacks the courage of his convictions. How many times is DeMint and our “other” leaders going to threaten to stick up for us before we stop buying their BS.

I can’t believe that some here would support this guy for President over a very qualified candidate who keeps her word and is out there fighting for the American people every day.

Maybe they have photos of DeMint and Graham in some quesionable poses.

DeMint supported Graham in his last primary....so maybe DeMint is not the leader we think he is

The only Republican with any testicular fortitude is Sarah Palin.

The rest are a bunch of geldings.

Oops, he got bad press...Republicans don’t like bad press...Republican voters don’t like bad press...even Freepers prefer candidates who don’t get bad press, calling it “too much baggage”.

Which is why the ballot box can no longer save us.

and several other pieces of legislation before the Senate adjourns for the year.

God help us. How much more will need to reverse.

You might want to get your facts together before demonstrating your ignorance of the matter...

“START Passage Looks Dead for 2010”:

In what looks like a decisive blow, at least eight Republican senators – including some the White House was counting on – will announce this afternoon they cannot vote to ratify President Barack Obama’s New Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty with Russia this year.

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R., Tenn.), Sens. Jon Kyl of Arizona, Lamar Alexander of Tennessee, John Thune of South Dakota, Christopher Bond of Missouri, Orrin Hatch of Utah, Saxby Chambliss of Georgia, George LeMieux of Florida and Mark Kirk of Illinois have called a press conference for 2:45 p.m. today to announce their opposition to ratification of the treaty during the lame-duck session.

Sens. Alexander and Kirk had given favorable signals about the treaty, and White House officials considered Sen. LeMieux a likely vote. Treaties need 67 senators for ratification...

DeMint has consistently been one of the top three or four most conservative Senators, and none of the FReepers on this thread know all the facts involved, yet they are blasting DeMint as though he were an enemy of the Republic.

Did any of them bother calling his office for an explanation before condemning him? Or is it hanging first, trial later?

I’m EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED!

Why is this voted lame duck congress trying to go against the will of the people? This without a doubt will endanger every citizen in this country. This is a modern day Neville Chamberlain deal with Adolf Hitler.

This deal is so dangerous that the enemy can attack us with a nuclear and/or biological weapon and fear of a nuclear retaliation.
