It cannot be stopped over the sexual preference of the promoter or promotee. That is the point of the lesson, the democrat party wants to sweep away this aspect of integrity in the ranks, by endorsing the sexual degeneracy as prtoected behavior.

In 2012 there should not be a single democrat elected to public office, and a few scumbag republicans with them, for the entire party is degenerate. But sadly, too many voters don't really give a damn so long as the nanny state sends them their stipend for voting democrap. First DADT established the premise that you could serve honorably if you could deceive everyone well enough. Now, the mask comes off and the last vestige of integrity is removed from military service as one of the most if not the most honorable positions in America.

Yep, once they repeal DADT, one of the very first things to happen, IMO, is that there will suddenly be promotion quotas based on being gay. Assignment preferences, too, most likely. Repeal is just the beginning.

This is against the U.S.Code of Military Justice. It seems the Congress has voted to change it.

I fear our militray personnel will not be able to get home and out quickly enough from the scumbucket that the democrat progressives are constructing to geld the last vestige of integrity for the Constitution.

Glad I had the opportunity to serve when I did.

Me too. I retired from the AF in 2004. Once DADT is lifted, I will never recommend the military as an option to any young person I know.

To a combat team, unit cohesion is everything. Open homosexuality will destroy it. Of course, the social engineers running the country will never admit to that. They'll cheer the destruction of our military... it's been a holy grail to them for ages.

I hope that anti-American muslim bastard in the WH and his satanic fellow travelers enjoy their place in hell when their time comes.

No doubt, but I think this will finally push the "Sleeping Giant" over the edge

No it won't. Most Americans don't give two sh*ts about whether DADT is repealed because they're not affected by it.

Agreed. If you read the polls of CIVILIANS something like 70%+ figure homos in the military are a good thing.

This will roust nobody from their sleep but we’ll lose a lot of good people who are already in the military... or will Obama demand a stop loss?

Heck, I got out because Billy Jeff got reelected. I couldn’t imagine staying in if the Senate goes along with the House.

If DADT gets repealed, not only will I never recommend the military as an option to any young person I know, I will actively discourage them. Same thing for my spouse.

The stepwise destruction of the honor in the military had a hallmark in the original DADT law, because that in effect proclaimed that so long as a sexual degenerate could fool everyone and maintain a lie, then that sexual degenerate could serve honorably. Think about it, the basis of DADT under a sexual degenerate president was designed to immediately make a mockery of the honesty and integrity of those in the military by protecting those who would maintain a dishonorbale lie to fool their fellow soldiers and officers!

You are correct and a perverted aspect of honor is now being used to promote homosexual sex one step further in the military...

"THEY" that created the lie situation now wish to end the lie situation by embracing homosexual sex -a progressive answer to a progressive problem created...

The Republicans should be able to filibuster this in the Senate.

"It would achieve under the eyes of an international disarmament organization, a steady reduction in force, both nuclear and conventional, until it has abolished all armies and all weapons except those needed for internal order and a new United Nations Peace Force. And it starts that process now, today, even as the talks begin."

Just, WOW! The things they don't teach you in school. Same party in control, just a different letter behind the name.

Of interest to your insanity-list and your domestic-enemy-list:

They can if they all hang together. But will they? Looks like Snowe is planning to switch her vote.
