I believe Rush L today said that Congress is operating now without rules that typically provide that after an Election, nothing is instigated until the next Congress comes in.

Democrats (as I had suspected they would) are now going to shove ALL the pet projects and Socialist schemes up our asses (with the help of LAME DUCK RINO'S) before they're kicked out for the end of the year.

Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Susan Collins (R-ME) are reported as saying they have the votes to repeal DADT. If so, the only hope is to somehow keep it off the Senate calendar. Otherwise, it may well pass and go straight to Obama for his eager signature. No reconciliation necessary between the House and the Senate.
